PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BOBBY WITT JR!!
Favourite player to watch.

In years past high diamonds or cards that had just came out never effected the POTM card ...they usually just go with who is the best ...but this year has been different ...and those saying mookie has a high diamond thats just his live series he will definitely get other cards and tbh after watching some YouTube videos everyone is saying Mookie which will be great because his live series isn't even the best SS in the game ....so my official prediction is 97 overall mookie
-
My prediction is either Mookie or Ozuna.
Mookie is top 5 in avg hr and rbi.
Ozuna is tie for most hr and 1 in rbi. And batting. 364. -
Unless something drastically changes its Mookie. His numbers at the top of that line up are staggering. I mean he could have a .325 35 hr 115 rbi 135 run 30 SB season. I know its early...and i know he's at arguably the top line up in baseball...BUT..he sitll has to produce and man has he.
He also might win a Gold Glove at SS too lol.

Classic lighting player 2017 Cody Bellinger

Steven Kwan is hitting .372 he could be a dark horse for lightning player.

Mookie is the obvious choice but they don't always go with the obvious choice. It's more likely they give it to a big name this year (and last) than in previous years when they would often purposely bypass the big names, holding them back for special card series.
I don't know how they are planning to do it this week. Do we get a single lightning card and then the normal Season Awards Drop 4?
If so then it is a shame for guys that had a solid month without having a stellar week. On the selfish side, I am thining about a player like Masyn Winn who has a .362 batting average, .396 OBP, 4 stolen bases, 2 doubles and 2 triples and currently only has a 70 overall bronze card.

Don't forget there's still 14 days left in April counting today... Plenty can change.
And Steve Kwan as the lightning would mean a riot in these parts.

If they gave it to Kwan, we'd lose half the casual playerbase for at least a week.
The other half would be flocking to the forums complaining like a woman pms'ing -
I’m guessing a 97 overall Mookie in a pack and a 95 overall Witt Jr. that you can earn through Season Awards collection.

It will be a normal drop#4 and the lightning is for collecting 4.

I hope Elly lights things up for the rest of April and gets the Lightning!

Your current WAR Top 10:
Mookie Betts- already a high diamond
Bobby Witt Jr
Anthony Volpe
Kutter Crawford
Jose Altuve
Paul Blackburn
Ronel Blanco- already Season Award
Ketel Marte
Jose Berrios
Reynaldo LopezAmong those choices, I could see either Volpe or Crawford.
I'll take Ketel

No one's talking about Taylor Ward
.300 + batting average, 6 dingers , 21 rbi leads the American league.
