Pinpoint pitching for lefties????????
-
I may not be the only one, but i think the right handed player has an advantage with pinpoint since it involves the right joystick. Is there a way to set it to the left joystick? Most games have inverted options....this would change the game for me as I totally suck with coordination with my right hand. Thoughts?

Great post! I don't love PP with lefties, especially the splitter.

Bro, I'm in the same boat! I created a thread about this a cpl weeks ago! As a lefty, I can not draw straight perfect circles and lines with my right thumb! I'm only good with smashing the buttons, not drawing circles and lines!
I think the only way u can map your controller is if u get the $200 Dualsense Edge for ps5. As for Xbox, I'm not sure if they have a fully mappable controller.

@FuLLVen0m33 One solution. Buy a controller, where you can switch the sticks via the pad software … e.g. the Elite (there are less expensive)

So by this, do left handed people have an advantage when it comes to Zone batting? I know for me being right handed I have very poor control over how accurately I place the PCI. Pretty much the ball had to be coming for the general vicinity of where I am set up to put it in the exact right spot. If it is far away from where I am set up I may get it close, but it usually feels like luck if I get it there exactly right.
But as a son of a southpaw I know the world is set up against them in many ways.

@Shauwn Could you really do that with that controller? I would have to invest in it, because I love the show, but I hate the pitching edge my family has on me in rank!

@nflman2033 thats a good point! lol i do find it comfortable with zone hitting. But they should have the option to switch what stick to use the zone with? its not like the other stick is being used in batting anyways.

Yes u can. For example, quite a few top ranked gamers don't even use buttons to hit. They set normal swing to the trigger button.
As for lefties like me, if I get the 200 dollar controller, the 1st thing I'd do is switch the sticks with pitching. I'd aim with the right stick, and use the left stick for pinpoint. -

As a lefty, I feel very comfortable with zone hitting pci placement. I wonder if Righties switch their stick input with zone hitting.
Do you guys aim the pci with the right stick or left stick?

@Shauwn My wife got me the conTroller (Keeper), and I love it. I love the high sticks swap out, much better control with the PCI. the only thing i dont like is that when you map the joystick you gotta remember to move the player with the right stick, which was dive. You can switch back and forth with profiles with a click of the button that is quicker than the time it takes to change innings, so you can go back to left stick PCI.
