SDS Stealing Stubs

SDS has replaced an 11k Diamond cleat (the Adidas Ultraboost 5.0) in everyone’s inventory with a gold cleat. This is nothing less than stealing stubs and no different than if they decided to make the 100k+ classics Edward Cabrera an 85 after everyone bought him.
If they lost the rights to that cleat, then we should have received an equivalent DIAMOND cleat or a (sellable) diamond cleat choice pack. Replacing that with a gold is equivalent to stealing those stubs.

So, in similar news, I chose the Griffey cleats out of a diamond equipment pack, and guess what?
It's not sellable. But nowhere does it say it's not sellable. It doesn't have the little "no sell" sticker on it now, and it didn't when I picked it.
Both are scummy as hell.

Do you have the clears equipped?
I do now. I did not then. And when you go to your inventory and click on items, it doesn't bring up the market like sellable items do. So it's not that. Try it.

@DEF266 it’s true and I’m not the only one, it was literally everyone who had those particular cleats. The sad thing is they had other, non-scummy options available for a replacement, but chose the scummiest option.

Even though I am one who tries to rationalize some of SDS's decisions. Replacing a Diamond sneaker with a Gold one is just not acceptable. Even if it means creating a fictional sneaker, users should get a replacement of equal quality as far as the boosts that they provide.

I earned some Diamond cleats in RTTS, forgot how, but sold right away since I need stubs. I forgot the name. Maybe if I kept them, I'd be like Bruce Willis in the baffroom in Die Hard
I should write a song about this: "You stole my cleats, off my feet, as I sleep, you friggin' deeks"

SDS is quite literally stealth swapping items and not allowing you to sell items that don't say "no sell" on them.
There's gatekeeping stubs and xp, then there's this. Anyone still claiming that their direction this year is no big deal, or that it's not the devs, it's the higher-ups...well, rationalize this one.

@SuntLacrimae50 it’s just very upsetting that someone on their team honestly thought replacing one of the best diamond cleats with a gold was ok.
