Can’t play DD, SDS support is USELESS

@Blind_Bleeder yeah I even factory reset my console, I’ve submitted one account issue ticket but I’ll submit another one to see if I can get a response this time

@Richlin06 it’s ridiculous, I love these games and even had a great time on this one but it’s left such a sour taste once this issue started for me

That just sucks. When you say it crashes, do you mean it freezes or you get knocked off the game (disconnects)? If disconnects, have you given your console a static IP address in your router? I know you said you don't have problems with other games, but it may be how your router communicates with the servers. I've seen threads where people on T-Mobile can't play...maybe talk with your ISP to see if it's on their end?
Just some ideas.

@Blind_Bleeder I really appreciate you my man, unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be anything to do with the wifi, the entire application crashes, doesn’t freeze or disconnect. I did a hard reset of the router and it didn’t help.

I just had another idea. Do you have a buddy with the same kind of console (or one that supports the version you purchased) where you can add your account and download the game onto it? Then you can play it from another console to see if the same thing happens.
You are certainly in a frustrating position!

Definitely looks like a hardware issue. Like the other guy said, test it on another console if you can. Open it up and clean it too in the meantime; worth a shot.

@yankblan wouldn’t i experience issues with other games tho? Its only mlb the show where i have problems

Hardware issues can seem sporadic because of how software is designed. For example, if (and this is a big if, but still possible) a game has been coded to map certain portions of memory, a hard disc, a video controller, an ethernet card, etc. and a console has a hardware issue at that location, only that game would be affected unless another game has the same hardware mapped in the same location.
Before I purchased my XBox, I had problems staying connected with my PS5. I got my connections more stable by talking with my ISP and making some IP address changes in my router (and they made some changes on their end), but I already bought the XBox because I was tired of not being able to connect to the game consistently. Now I have two consoles to play on in case one has a problem. I'm not suggesting this as a solution for you, but just as an example of how hardware can be an issue.

@Blind_Bleeder that makes sense, really hope I don’t need to replace my ps5, only 3.5 years old :(. I submitted an account issue ticket, I’m gonna wait for an SDS response before I do anything big like replace the console. I really appreciate your help my man.

@yankblan I worked 17 years in telecoms, installing everything from phone systems to VoIP to voicemail, wireless, routers, layered switches, servers and so on; sometimes you just get a lemon or have problems that seem software on the surface that make no sense. I’ve had customers who had to rewire the electrical outlets used by these systems and servers, outlets that weren’t grounded; static interference that affects two devices in totally different ways even though they were exactly the same out of the box.
I hope it’s not your case, but it’s worth investigating at least. Hope it’s not the case; sorry man.
