Conquest games not registering

I’ve now beaten the Yankees and nationals twice each in the team affinity conquest without being rewarded the win or receiving any parallel boosts or other program xp. Is there a fix to this? I have restarted the game twice with no prevail

I'm thinking it's all about who you attack first because I was able to do both TA Conquest for the Easts without issue. But I have seen others with issues. If you have the time and can't find the answer elsewhere starting over should help.
