You can’t. Just gotta get good. That’s why they put the points path program in there to help you.

It’s like saying why can’t I get good in Champions weekend in any EA. Why can’t I make top 100.

Well. Cos you’re not good enough. What else do you want to hear? It’s the same for 99% of us bro 🤣

Play mini seasons games on All Star to warm up before heading into BR. You’ll earn packs while doing it too, which might have cards you can sell for the stubs you need 🙂

If you haven’t looked at your duplicate cards and uniforms in a while, you might have thousands of stubs just sitting there.

If you’re that bad at H2H why not just play franchise?

No its not like that at all.

The BR track is badly tuned. I don't think its unreasonable for a lower skilled player to want to be able to grind for the 100 star mark. Ranked works well like this already, so with some tweaking to the track BR would be much better. Leave event as the no skill? go home track.

Its not like he is asking why he cant go flawless (your top 100 argument)

Just gotta keep grinding away bud. 2 years ago you had to go 12-0 to get the prized cards. At least now you have a path.

I feel like 1500 stubs per entry is a bit much this year considering we basically need to buy every pack just to get the cards. Nothing else online you need stubs to play

Every year BR gets easier and easier to finish the program. It’s spoonfed to people now compared to a few years ago. In no way shape or form should they make it even easier to get to the Main BR reward.

And how does this hurt you? Terrible take, take the elitist attitude elsewhere.

This is one reason why there should be 2 sets of rewards. A no sell grind program reward like we have no for everyone.

Then a 3 card random pack for those who hit flawless.

This way the good players get rewarded and those who participate also get rewarded.

If they did this, I'd like to see matchmaking based on actual skill level early on.
Beginners shouldn't be playing against guys like Zazzi, AJ, and Kyle right away. Maybe when ppl get to 5 wins, it's completely random afterwards.
    Just a thought

I'm all for rewarding people that are good (and I think they still are), I just feel that any particular card should be grindable reasonably for everyone, but not necessarily all the cards in a program. I also think what they have done in ranked is good, with an extra choice pack at the tail end of the program (that particular one is still pretty easily available for everyone who puts in the time though)

I got matched with OhChev once last year at 0-1 and he was on the final run of a flawless run. Ever since then I never let the bar go past 1800 or so, but I could still always get him at 0-0.

There are separate rewards. The Elites that go Flawless get a sellable card and can ALSO get the non-sellable card at 100pts.

Plus you can go Flawless MULTIPLE times during a program. Those who do the path can only get one card unless they buy thr other.

Also, the elites can 'save' their run so that when the new program starts; they can get the reward just by winning one game.

    Bet that was fun, Lmao!
I got matched with Zazzi in ranked. I even went up early against him. Yet he mercied me like 15-5... The dude can hit!

I’m new to The Show and I get “mercied” almost always. I haven’t played video games for decades but I used to be a player others would watch play (at the arcade).
Point is, I know what investing money and time in a game and making progress feels like. If a game is too easy, the progress doesn’t feel so good.
Right now, I look in my game for signs of improvement. I know there will be a time when the shoe is on the other foot and I’ll be I’ll be the one mercy-ing others but, if I were really in a hurry for that level, I’d spend more time in the batting cage (practice fields). I’d probably allow myself to spend real money too but that’s not how it’s going to work.
I’m going to take my moral victories and tolerate the palpable pity from my opponents who are writing players like me off as “terrible” when it’s just that I’m inexperienced for now. I’m learning from them. Also, I understand and it’s ok. I’ve been there.
This is a game. Have fun. The community has been great and there are so many ways to customize your experience to make it right for you.
Finally, think about this. Last year, Michael Massey, a Royals rookie, had a HORRIFIC start to his career. It was painfully bad. He got better and they asked him how he got through it and he said “You have to embrace the suck”. The Navy Seals use the phrase to deal with difficult situations too.
Stick with it and learn and you will get better!

I get what you are saying, but this really isn't about that. Its about some needed tweaks to the BR program that most people wont realize should be made.

My pitching has gotten better, but it will be limited because I find pinpoint tedious and unfun so I wont use it. But even then, its good enough much of the time

My hitting online is atrocious, timing pitches is really tough for me as its such a drastic difference from offline (I play exclusively all star offline) combined with people (generally) being better than AI at mixing speeds. But I can hit just enough to win some of the time. I just hide my guys hitting the .100s lower in the lineup to not spoil the surprise for my opponent.

I'm mostly comfortable where I am at. I just wish the BR track was a bit better paced.

@Firestormx idk what low skilled means, but im around a 450 ranked player and i have no problem doing it. i can usually win 2 games every time and if you focus on the stats and have one good run where you win 5 games, you can hit the milestones to make it go fast. have to grind pxp for the players and keep drafting the right ones.

@Firestormx my only advice … you are doing good rn … so keep on going. Eventually you will win more… Watch out what opposing (good) players are running on their field and try to adapt in your next runs. There are also a few youtube-videos on how to draft good players. Maybe that helps too

I usually top out at 3 wins personally. I had a 4 this season, but one was a disconnect after 1st pitch

You mentioned that you are running out of stubs cause it's taking so long, why not do events?
setup is similar, difficulty is the same but it's free, you'll get practice at playing ppl and when you go back to br you'll do better
