Opponent mid-play quit to avoid a loss leaves me stuck in game

What is this nonsense??? I had to close out the game and restart it. Then I’m pinned with the loss even though I lead 2-0 and the dude couldn’t hit a lick.

You could be up 100 to 0. If u quit, u lose. It's always been that way. Imagine if SDS listened to your argument and awarded wins for those who quit up 1-0 in the top of the 1st. Lol. No one would ever play at home... smh.
Why not send a friendly quit since u were up? I've had guys msg me up on my asking if I could do a friendly quit due to emergencies. I'm ALWAYS a good sport and will say np. Unless it's the 9th inning and he's up by 1 and I have the bases loaded with no outs. Then you're gonna have to play or quit.

I don’t understand what you’re saying. They quit in the middle of a throw from CF to home that was never going to get there to stop the tagging running at 3rd from scoring and making it 2-0, my lead. I didn’t quit. They did and it froze me in the game like that.

When they disconnect the game abruptly they get the loss. You just need to stay until you see the message “connection lost with opponent”.

That’s typically what happens, but this time, I got stuck in the game infinitely. The game sat frozen for over 15 minutes before I closed it and restarted.
The guess I didn’t explain that in the video, completely frozen, they quit, I get pinned with the loss in a 2-0 game which I lead.

@x814xmafia The throw came to the plate thrown by the CF way after my tagging runner had scored from 3rd making it 2-0, but the score didn't change, the runner just stood there frozen as seen in the video, and then a message popped up that opponent disconnected but never exited me out of the game and gave me the loss.

@a761506_MLBTS yea, I was up 13-4 in the 9th had 21 hits. He quit out and left me frozen I waited over 20 mins. I restarted my system and have an L. I message the dude on Xbox and he’s trolling saying yeah you mad I won lol this is so crazy man

I take comfort in the fact that they're a pathetic person who needs to cheat in order to feel better about themselves for exploiting a video game... those wins and losses clearly mean a lot more to them than they do to me.
