First off, thanks to SDS for the explanation behind the cap. The transparency is good. I hope that people who are unhappy with it can at least be respectful and constructive.

As a daily, mostly offline player I don't run into the cap. I play on All Star mainly and stink at hitting (but improving? maybe) so I dont get game xp that fast.

However, I don't enjoy online play because
-matchmaking in BR and events means I get my rear handed to me most of the time
-ranked is pretty fun, but I also live in Australia so I am probably giving my opponent a slideshow (I was asked if I was playing from Mordor before)

I think offline only players are already behind the curve as we have to grind stubs for cards more because of all the event/BR/ranked cards we may want, and those wheel spins help with stub acquisition.

I wonder if there is some kind of way to allow for offline players to get a portion of that xp? Probably isnt an easy solution to this and I know Mini Seasons has a decent chunk of xp, but I would imagine you are factoring in people doing those too to the curve

Further, I feel the cap should be cumulative so as to not punish people that cant play daily or late joiners that plan on catch up sessions. While I suspect this doesnt impact that many people in reality, its still a 'feels bad' thing that shouldn't be, in my opinion.

    Noting here after further thought:
    -I don't cap daily
-BR + Ranked + event program is 80K, or just over 5 days worth of xp And another 10K for a second event and thats 90K for a month+
-Im likely leaving that much on the table as it is by playing all star instead of rookie (and all star is more fun for me so I wont change)
-Further, if I pushed towards those programs the loss of xp due to being bad at online play compared to what I would earn normally probably balances out
-I'll likely play a chunk of ranked anyway once my theme team is ready

A lot of my concern is hypothetical, so I will wait and see how the season progresses.

SDS confirmed the daily cap of GAME XP at 15,000. I'm genuinely alright with the cap...but completely against how they slashed xp rewards for gameplay. I think that needs to be adjusted back to normal (IE 180 per defensive inning vs the current 90-99).

This doesn't help the average player...it hurts us.

I will see if I'm still finishing the track comfortably with a bunch of spins like I was last year
gameplay xp is slashed, but its also supposed to be much less important. So does it matter that it was slashed? Too early to tell.

Im skeptical, but until we see how the full season plays out we can't know for sure

The grind feels artificial because of the cap. They are forcing people to stay at the same pace as everyone else. It completely takes the fun out of the grind. It takes the grind out of the grind. Terrible decision and they are doubling down on their bad decision.
