RTTS - All Star Game

Has anyone had an all star game? I was voted into one, and the game blew right past it. I participated in the home run derby, but no all star game. It was like it didn't even happen. No one was given credit for being selected to it.

Haven’t done it this year but did in 23 and I got to take the at bats. I was going to ask if you were a pitcher thinking perhaps you just didn’t get put in the game. But if you were in the HR Derby I’m assuming no

I've had this happen in two different RTTS seasons - it skipped right past the All Star game and didn't list it on my "Awards" at the end of the season?

It did that to me for my catcher. I suspect it might be that the actual invite is based on MLB League Leaders stats that require 3.1 plate appearances per team game played (All total games played by the team, regardless of whether you played in them or not) to be eligible to make the League Leaders list for those categories (i.e. Batting Average, OBS and OPS).

@Frankdatruetank - I thought it could have been that too. But I checked every other player that was the number one vote getter at their position and no one was selected for the All Star Game. It was like it never happened. I'll check again for the All Star Game for my second season in a week or so and see if it shows that anyone was selected this year.

My game and my sons blew right past the game despite us both being picked for it. I also had 50 homers but didnt get picked for the home run derby. Worse, you cant even see the box score to see what happenend.

Both my players made the All-Star Game during their first complete seasons.
