What is up with this batting?

So, I play on beginner difficulty, and I don't if it's because of beginner difficulty, but almost every time I'm pitching, every hitter fouls 10 or so pitches, and it messes up my pitch count. I'll throw a ball way out the zone and they still hit it and foul it off, then to make it even worse, when it's around 7 or so pitches, the next pitch will just be on the edge of the zone and count as a ball and the batter doesn't swing. It doesn't matter if it's exhibition or rtts.

This is something that I've really noticed in MS or conquest...when stamina is super limited. Strike 1, strike 2...foul foul foul foul foul foul foul foul no matter the location...and then your starter is drained. What makes it annoying is that if you compare your screen recording to the replay, you'll sometimes notice a discrepancy. Ever felt like the swing was nowhere near the ball yet they fouled it off?

Are you playing franchise or RTTS? Maybe adjust the sliders, if XP is not something you're working towards.
Beginner doesn't exist in DD.

@yankblan it's rtts and exhibition. I don't play franchise, and I do care for xp, but don't. I'm already level 13 or 14
