Getting disconnected every game in the 3rd inning is getting annoying

@davisonkj17 Might be your internet. I haven’t been disconnected from any games.

Try going into your router and giving your console a static IP address. That helped me a couple of years ago when that was happening to me.

@GoozeFn internet is working fine, just popped up that there is an error with connecting to PlayStation account? Not sure what’s going on here

Give your PS a dedicated (static) IP address in your router. That should help.

Same. 3 games in a row online rated. Gives me the L every time. Nothing on my end. Must be playstation server

@RUSTY_DUGAN How do you know it’s not on your end? Seems like it is if you’re getting the loss.

@RUSTY_DUGAN_PSN @davisonkj17_PSN I had this problem with my PS5 a couple of years ago. Setting a static IP in my router for my PS5 solved the issue. It's not a matter of whether you have fast, slow, wired, or wireless Internet. It's how your PS talks to your router, and PS5 are known to have this problem with some routers.
I know, I know, I sound like a broken record, but it's a known issue and this fix has been known to help many.

@Blind_Bleeder I created a static IP. I got through 1 game perfect. Played a 2nd game and it disconnected in the 6th. I have 8 losses with 6 disconnects. Not sure what’s happening….

I guess I fixed it for now, I found a post on Reddit about changing the wifi settings in the PlayStation to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 it’s working ok for now but still dumb I had to do this

I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried a static IP, the WiFi setting @davisonkj17 mentioned (I’m hard wired but tried WiFi for troubleshooting purposes), port forwarding, manual DNS, reset router, reset PS5 in safe mode and the losses keep coming. I’m at my wits end. I’ll soon be requesting a refund if this isn’t fixed.

@RUSTY_DUGAN what i don’t understand is why I’m getting the loss 100% of the time. I’m 99% sure it’s not my network, so why doesn’t my opponent get a few losses? I’ve played this game since it’s inception (took 4th in the big online tournament years ago (08? 09?) where the the 1st place price was 10k so I’ve seen it all when it comes to tricks people pull online and server disconnects. But This is ridiculous!! Hopefully it’s being addressed with this newest patch or hate to say it…I’m out.
