RTTS is broken… can I get a refund?
-
Played a whole season as two way sp/2b and my pitch stats are stuck at 40 and my home run totals reset after 255… both known issues in last seasons game so I guess they didn’t even try to to fix them. I knew I shouldn’t have bought the game, is there a way to get a refund?

I really REALLY hope this post is being sarcastic...

In what sense?
That he expected the game to work?
That he expects SDS to respond in any meaningful way?
That a refund would even be a possibility for a product that's broken in multiple modes and in multiple ways?

I can get on board with the ratings bug, but the 255 HR thing is, shall I say, less than constructive or intelligent.

What does "less than constructive" even mean? That sounds not quite..."intelligent."
You people can dog players for engaging in the game in ways that seem ridiculous TO YOU, but the fact remains: THE GAME SHOULD WORK.
And legacy issues persist, year after year after year.

@SuntLacrimae50 Basically, you're not playing the game the way it's designed to, you're attempting to break the game. Like I said, bugs are bugs, but a 255 HR limit is not a bug or affecting the product in any way. Had he said 80, or 90? Ludicrous, but yeah I understand some people love counting stats on their batting practice.
It's as if say, playing FF7 I was mad because on easy in chapter one I can't single shot Sephiroth and wanted a refund. If the game prevented me from leveling up because of a bug, then yeah, that is valid.

Fair enough! Don't agree entirely. After all, if you allow 255, why not allow 2550, lol?

It’s a coding thing for the homerun counter. Feel free to use the search feature. It’s explained by someone in the forum. They need to compress the size of the way stats are compiled for thousands of players. Every stat stops at a certain number and resets.

@fubar2k7 Yeah, the first clue is 255; if you've ever worked in networking, it has some logic to it.
