Mini seasons

@virusts
It was his 100 SB Milestone card... and yes 97 not 99. It may have been a developer's team that I played since there is no way to currently have all three S1 rewards (Paige, Mays, Brett). -

@Easy_Duhz_It_ also people in this forum: “I’m not doing LS collection this year.”
Then: “Why is Babe Ruth in the lineup?!”
This guy gets it.
Ive seen so many posts from people actively avoiding collections and doing content because the first wave of TA cards is "cheeks" and those same people will be complaining about being "forced" to buy packs in order to compete at the break.

The TA mini seasons are not lineups from other players, they are 6 teams based on TA divisions and the seventh is the Whales are meant to be...whales and are supposed to be stacked
The live series is the one that uses real teams and it sucks because of that as you will see the same players on multiple teams.
-
The team that was stacked wasn't the Whales. It was the Cats. And their lowest ranked player was a 90. My highest ranked was a 87. They had a few cards that were 99.
This whole mode annoys me. But hey ruined RTTS. So not much else to play
-
@Easy_Duhz_It_ normally, you'd have a point. However, the teams in mini seasons are using cards that aren't even available to the players. Some that aren't even in the game like the 97 Lou brock.

[censored] man I just wish I knew what y’all were talking about lol this’ll be my third season playing this game and I still got no idea how things work. It’d sure be awesome if there was a thread that explained all the different modes and the best ways to go about acquiring stuff. It’s all I can do to formulate a plan to exist in real life I’ve got literally no hope of doing it for my vidya gaime lol
I can’t be the only one out here who doesn’t watch youtube or use any social media that’s on this forum (gosh…am I?) but I do like to read. I squeeze my posts in between jobs as I travel thru my community each day working on hvac units and generators etc so my attention span is distracted at best but I’d really like to understand better what you’re talking about so that when I do get some time to play the game I’ll hopefully have some kind of direction.
Don’t feel obligated to having time to explain it in depth but it sure would be cool if there was a thread that posted popular strategies and techniques for those of us who hit it and quit it

@BxnnyMxn_ I can help you out but what do you need to know? Different game modes or just learn offline grinding methods to complete team affinity?

One thing I quickly noticed was that when I quit gaming back in aught three when my kids were born the baseball games were really fun and you could just pick up and play whenever you wanted and use whatever lineups were available. Now that my kids are grown up i decided to get back into it and everything is way different.
Seriously I had to use friggin excel documents just to figure out how to get cards to field a competitive lineup and then by the time I had half my team in blue numbers (about two months of 5-10 games per week) then it was time to start over lol. What’s the most efficient way to earn a decent lineup or what path should I take I guess is the question. Is there a way to figure out which cards are the best without having to look in ten different modes or better yet is there a way to play with some good cards without having to waste so much time. Like a way to try the cards first before you go after them to see if it’s something you even want to fool with I mean

@BxnnyMxn_ As someone whos played baseball games since RBI on the original NES, this is a whole other ball game (pun intended). If you're looking to just pick a team and play, obviously offline franchise is the way to go. With Diamond Dynasty, its really a months long grind always trying to get the shiny new toy SDS gives us.
As far as the best cards right now, assuming you mean offline DD, the starter program and spring breakout program get some decent diamonds. After you get those started, the real grind begins with the team affinity program.

Just won my TA mini season, and pulled Trout from a Ballin pack! I'm debating selling Trout and either holding the stubs, picking up some cards off the market to try out like Mauer, doing the Yankees collection to get Bernie Williams or knocking out a bunch of the cheap collections. Decisions, decisions.
I kept waiting for the game to crash in the championship but swept the series.
