Right!!! I almost submitted a ticket to SDS to complain about this. There are too many balls vs strike ratio. I even started playing conquest games on HOF. The ball to strike ratio is hilariously and embarrassingly too High!
On average, the cpu throws 70% balls to 30% strikes. In rl, if any mlb pitcher matched this ratio, they would not be in the majors...
This needs to change to more of a 70-75% to 30-25% strike to ball ratio.

Yep it’s poor programming. Just look at how the cpu hits. They rarely hit or even swing at the first couple of pitches. Lay off borderline pitches with eagle eyes or take every pitch on the corners. Then ultimately swing once they have to with 2 strikes. It’s how the game thinks players should hit when in reality pitchers and hitters are usually much more aggressive. Imagine how much quicker the game would be if the CPU didn’t throw so many balls and actually swung earlier in counts.

They claimed they made TA easier to grind but made it more total TA xp, decreased the amount vouchers give by a lot, and added 2 more TA per season. It really sounds like the they made it easier lol. It’s like 3x as much work if you don’t go play H2H modes. Terrible

Bro, you're 100% righy! This is why I never throw balls to the cpu. They rarely swing unless they have to. Then I love when they foul off 7 pitches in a row..
I remember back in the day, rookie, veteran, and all star was much better. They'd throw mostly strikes. It was a good way to practice swings, and get easy runs. The games were quicker. No one wants to play conquest, we do it to practice, get stuff done, and for rewards to build our teams for online dd.

I was thinking the same thing. They increased the TA xp, which is nice. However, everything else just went backwards.
It's more tedious, games take longer to play due to the cpu pitching like a drunk and hungover Wild Thing, and less vouchers being rewarded.
Last year wasn't perfect, but it was more rewarding and better.
I havent jumped into Mini Seasons yet, but last yr u only had to play like 8 games I believe to make the playoffs?
It was actually not horribly bad throwing a team together, and to try cards out to see if they'll make your online dd squad.Right now, I'm gonna suffer through all the ta conquest to get better players to throw them in my lineup to play mini seasons just to try knocking these out. I'm sure it will take longer than last year, which sucks.

I’m going to try a mini seasons after this conquest too but the workload is too much. Especially when have to do this 2 more times. By the time we finish this TA chapter the next one will be out it’s terrible. I liked how it was at the end of last year, 1 conquest map and showdown per league that got you 1/3 of the way done.

Bingo. Plus if the CPU fouls off multiple pitches it almost guarantees they are gonna get a hit later in the at bat. Don’t even get me started on their very early swings on 103 mph fastballs on the black or random no doubt HR that occurs out of nowhere on a pitch the CPU has no business making contact on. Strange and laughable at the same time.

Yep, what grinds my gears is the cpu player level 67 bottom of the lineup guy BATTLING with your 90 level pitcher on allstar. Just going toe to toe like they're Tony Gywnn.

Those 12 yr old's be trying to trick you with balls thrown 5 feet high, away, and low.
Then once in 15 pitches, they accidentally will black dot the corner on you, just like the cpu.

I’ve played 5 online games. Won two by quit, and quit on three. The game is zero fun. It’s just insanely boring. I’m enjoying my 10th run through starfield more at the moment…that says a lot.

A lot of the changes are minimal and overall this game just seems like a 23.5 patch update:
The Good:
Grind how you want: You can grind programs on or offline, repeat showdowns / missions. Finally! Hitting feels great so far (still a ton of P/P outs, but so be it)The Bad:
the 4 wild cards: This is something we should have had last year **(but why are they being secretive about how we "earn them", too cryptic)** Ranked unchanged again, so bland and boring, stub rewards for reaching next division are just sad for the 5th year in a row 😧 Co-Op untouched!?: No improvements to freezing or the crappy gold cards Awful legend class, Beltre is all we got !?The Ugly
