I thought you need it for everything else because it's tied to online servers?

I'm not seeing it anywhere for ps4 only physical copies of ps5 for $70.
Is it out for ps4 as a standard version.

Go here: https://theshow.com/purchase/en-us/ and in the Standard edition, click on the Select Version box and select Last Gen. It's $60. BUT - if you want early access, you'll need MVP or Digital Deluxe.

@Blind_Bleeder So it is only digital copy for ps4. I don't worry about the early access.

As far as I know, all PS versions are digital. The only ones with discs are XBox and Switch. Someone may be able to confirm this for me.

I wouldn't speculate too hard on this. It's my opinion (and not a very popular one) that as long as there are more PS4 users than PS5, and they support the Switch, they will support the PS4.
