I'm kinda mid about the whole women's thing. instead of adding them to baseball, San Diego studio should add a softball feature like 2k does for the WNBA. I'm not going to make a big deal about it. its going to be a nice feature for the female fans of the show already, but its a poor marketing strat to try and to attract a audience who doesn't really care and risk losing the audience who does care.

SDS will lose zero customers from this. Zero.

@BJDUBBYAH I mean it depends on the person. some people on forums are pissed off, but I'm not going to make a big deal about it cuz I'll just continue my RTTS. and I'm not saying there going to lose customers, I'm saying its risky because they could.

@DaboiNoah It is my understanding that it will be optional. This change should only gain them customers. There are girls that are gamers and baseball fans. It will be nice for them to see themselves in the game.

@LeMachine26 @BJDUBBYAH
Adding women who played pro ball could be good for this game. However, if they make these cards too OP, then it could have a negative impact on this game franchise. A lot of baseball fans have purchased this game each year for the "sim" aspect... Adding OP women cards, to go along with their chessy stadiums, dinosaurs, floating aliens, etc. is giving it more of an arcade feel to it. This may turn off a lot of dedicated, annual buyers of this game and hurt them in the long term. -
Since it is optional then it's no big deal. What I resent is being forced to play a certain way, such as not being able to spend training points any way I want or having to start at age 18 and not being able to go to college for up to 4 years or changing your starting age when you create a player. Options are good for everyone.

@LeMachine26 ya it probably will. my only worry is that In RTTS during games, there might be female players on the other teams. But in the end if I don't like 24's RTTS, I'll keep playing 23.
