If everyone is playing with 91-92 rated cards then if should be the same as everyone playing with 99's. Going against equal value opponents either online or in-house. Should play the same although we know that all 99 rated cards are not the same.

@rageincage007_XBL Which means it’ll be the same lineups all the time for the H2H players vs people playing other 99s since all 99s aren’t the same?

There is a massive difference … a) playing with 91s or 99s and b) having a power-creep that leeds up to that

I imagine the captains will be a bigger factor increasing players closer to 95-99s

This is what it was like prior to 23, by the end of the first month all the online line ups were 91 overall cards. Cards at that level have flaws and bigger weakness that can be exploited and a mistake with a 91 overall pitcher has a bigger impact then with a 99 overall rated pitcher.

It’s all about the swings. I love Mike Piazza one of my favorite players but I can’t do dickee doo with his cards. Joe Mauer I don’t care if it’s a gold or a 99 I will out hit almost every other catcher there is lol.

Uh, NO. 99's -- at least many of them -- are cartoonishly unrealistic power hitters. 91's -- at least most of them -- are actual human beings.

Next shitstorm incoming, if „they“ limit users from using any card they want to use at any time 🙂

It shouldn't be a stretch to have a RS mode with a team cap in addition to the old standby.

Events are 3 innings, and team-building comes into play more in a 9-inning game.

It can be done. It will not be done.

This was how the game was before last year. Grind to get the collection done, use subpar cards as the game progresses you get better cards.

Because it dilutes the player bases for each game mode even further. You think matchmaking takes too long now...
