So I was playing as my pitcher and apparently for the hr/9 stat you lose progress for weak fly balls and actually gain progress for giving up home runs.

Hmmm. I don't play my pitcher much, but I'll pay attention for it now. Have you tried to confirm if it's just happening in game but giving you the correct adjustments in the post game?
