I mean I just don’t get it. Every single time I end up in a horrible stadium, which most of the times are MLB pro parks, I know my opponents record is going to be horrible and it is 100% of the time.

I could understand if a person was new to the game, had a 2-7 record and decided to play at Camden Yards. Then I can chalk it up to that person just not knowing any better.

But these dudes that have records of 230-800 should know better. They’ve played the game entirely too much to not know the meta stadiums and to continue picking Minute Maid park and it’s horrible batters eye.

Coors is the pro park you wanna play at if you need to play at a pro park.

    Rant over

I pretty much only select pro stadiums because I feel if I’m using professional ball players at the highest level, they should be playing at the finest parks. Plus, when I hit a homer in a MLB park, I know it’s legit, not some luck hit that goes out in one of those tiny joke fields. I play all MLB parks except Mets and that’s because of the airplanes flying over every inning and they just can’t be muted.

@aware_ward13 Is it possible they chose the stadium because they’re Astros fans? 🤔

You certainly have no idea how the batters eye is for them.

I have to agree with OP. Never played a half decent player who picks a pro park. They are always extremely mediocre skill level wise or just flat out awful.

Edit: before people get all mad and offended, it's just an observation on my part. It's not the most important thing to be good at this game and if you enjoy playing at these horrible parks then by all means, you do you.

I have an observation of my own. Everyone literally complains about people using the minor league stadiums and/or created stadiums because they consider those stadiums unrealistic in some way or form. Now it’s an issue to use real MLB stadiums.

I never heard anyone complain about people using minor league parks. In fact that is the preferred way to play for people in the higher divisions. Created parks is a different story because people are cheesing with the altitude and dimensions. Also, people have been complaining about the use of MLB parks since forever. Because there is much more stuff going on with crowds and other effects, the game just runs much poorer in MLB parks. This isn't something new at all.

Because they usually can’t hit anyway, so they pick Oracle Park, Shea Stadium, etc.

By doing that they get help from the game to limit your offense, just the same way that guys playing at 100 elevation created stadiums that are 450Ft to CF and 375 to left/right field.

Yeah, if SDS removed wind from the H2H games they should remove the effect elevation has on hitting outcomes. Make it 100% skill and attributes

I agree. They should've just kept Shippett the way it was instead of nerfing the elevation there. It wasn't out of control and the dimensions were good. Now people are cheesing with their created parks or play at laughing mountain which isn't great either imo with the batter eye. Coors is okay, but as mentioned it is an MLB park and therefor it doesn't run smooth online.

Never heard of it, because nobody ever picks that park with the exception of probably 5 people.

10 of my last 15 games have been played at that stadium. And I pick Date Palm Field myself.

All BR games. And most of them are late night/early morning Eastern time. So the bar goes all the way to the right.

Funny, I lived in BR for the past 5 years and not once played in that park as far as I remember.

I may be mistaken; but isn't it a newer stadium? I don't remember of it was there two years ago. But I think it was last year.

I heard alot of people pick that one because of how Shippett was nerfed.

It’s a new stadium, people play there.. a loot, due to 5000ft elevation with good batters eye, it’s just shippett on steroids
