@broken_toy1 according to this forum MLB the show is pay to win now? Madden is not the best but it is the most popular, like playing madden is one of the most classic things in gaming. I love MLB and I can admit Madden just hits a little different, mlb has been the same since 17, they need to add a weekend league or some new modes to online for dd, events/ranked/br thats about it. I'm a mlb defender as well, but man it gets so hard mid july to keep playing when you just are bored of the same stuff, and madden 24's gameplay is actually awesome, just content stinks, you dont have to pay to win any more, you can build a pretty good squad if you just grind a little bit.

I'll try Madden again in a couple of years. They've had multiple problems and when you used to call or email about a problem then the Indian customer support would say it's your fault instead of trying to fix the problem. Then hang up on you. Add the pay to win from earlier years and overall "screw you" mentality I've experienced, I think I'm being pretty reasonable in saying Madden and EA don't deserve my business.

@broken_toy1 NCAA football coming out this july will crush madden in sales, I think NCAA will be the same as madden, but it will still ncaa football. College football being back will push a lot of games under during that time.

I actually plan on getting it. College football has is always exciting. Always a good game on every Saturday.

@chucky97____PSN why is MLBTS pay to win ?!?!? I do not agree. You can get lots of very good cards from just playing. If you play it wise (on the market) and wait a little bit, you got lots of „cheap“ cards to fill out collections. That was were the majority of cards were.
Along the way, you get packs and build from there. Sure, Elly, Trout, Mauer, Mantle were chase packs but I got most of them, when they dropped (which happens a lot). But: You did not need them, since the alternatives were good enough too.
One IF: If you always want every new (buyable) card right at the drop, then you either have to be a great player and make stubs from flawless or invest money … But imo you do not need to do that -

And with the NIL agreement, the game will have actual NCAA players. In a year, some players make more than NFL stars...like more than 2x more.

I feel like the game is better, people tend to say older versions are better, not because they werr better but becuase for most of them it represents a time in their lives that they’d like to return to.

Is that why the NBA Live revival was garbage? That game was way better than 2K when they lost the license and my life is so much better now than it had ever been.
It makes more sense to say you like the new game because it’s the most recent game similar to people who just automatically like the latest movie in a series of movies no matter the quality due to recency.

NBA Live '18 & '19 were fun games! I even wrote trophy guides for both. I wish they'd come back. 2K isn't all that bad, but I'm still on '23, and the REC room where goons and scrubs hang out

@YOSHI24 i said "according to this forum mlb is pay to win" the amount of times i saw "SDS is turning into EA" all because they made packs actually valuable to earn this year was unreal. This is the easiest team building game of any ultimate team style game.

@YOSHI24 mlb 21 ruined a lot of games for the future, mlb 21 being an absolute hand out ( every card could be unlocked by doing bare minimum) since then everyone just wants handouts.

DId not think about it this way … Imo 21+22 were kinda the same. This year was different … but in each of those 3 years you could get everything without spending one cent and not playing the game every day. I was on vacation for 3 weeks and got everything pretty easy

This game was meant for mouse and keyboard. Imagine tracking a pitch on a 240hz display. They could add an extra difficultly and make pitch speeds really insane. The extra precision boost from a mouse, you could make pci really tiny and truly amp up the competitiveness of the game. This game is already the best sports simulation on console. Balanced for pc it wouldn't even be close. I feel they are truly wasting the potential this game could have on pc.
Ah hell no. Do you realize how easy it is to cheat on pc? It would ruin the game. Keep.on consoles where it belongs.

For the record like it or not MLB the show is the best sports franchise out right now for online play. It’s not pay to win. It could be if you wanted. My team is loaded I spent 100$ on the DDE.
