They only even made their exclusive game for other consoles because MLB threatened to take their license. It’ll likely not go to PC unless MLB forces it.
Then who would be there to make a licensed MLB game? 2K? Super Mega?
F- MLB
If MLB threatened that, then they can 'sawk a dead Dawgs doik.'
Google translate that 🤪 -

Google translate that 🤪Anyone who wants to make a game could make one. They never had an exclusive license. 2K had the exclusive license and under that license each console manufacturer could make their own exclusive game which was this game. Microsoft chose not to make an exclusive game which screwed their customers when 2K quit making baseball games.

If this game was on pc I would not play it

@joshjays44_PSN where you at

@Sarge1387
Who wins? Batter using Zen master for perfect perfect contact or pitcher throwing every pitch perfectly in the corners at 105 mph w/ no stamina loss?
It would be Gagne vs Bonds every at-bat on PC

For the record, my 'dawg' reference was from when Howard Stern & Imus were competing. Imus foolishly said: 'If HS beats me in the ratings, I'll S.A.D.D.D. '
I have proof as I have tons of HS tapes from his 92.3 K'Rock days!
Then Howard beat him in the ratings, so he made a song parody to the tune of 'Addicted to love' by Robert Palmer, changing the words to: 'might as well face it, got a dawg in yo mouff.' -

This game was meant for mouse and keyboard. Imagine tracking a pitch on a 240hz display. They could add an extra difficultly and make pitch speeds really insane. The extra precision boost from a mouse, you could make pci really tiny and truly amp up the competitiveness of the game. This game is already the best sports simulation on console. Balanced for pc it wouldn't even be close. I feel they are truly wasting the potential this game could have on pc.
Best sports game on console is NBA2K but we are not ready to have that conversation. MLB the show has a long way to go, from connectivity to gameplay.

@iBonafideScrub_ bro said NBA2k a series that actually gets worse in gameplay yearly. I'd say the best sports game on console is Madden, then popularity wise probably fifa, then 2k/chl. 2k is awful.

Madden the best???? LOL.
There's a reason I haven't touched that Jurassic Park doody pile since '19. -

@fubar2k7 you guys dont realize how big of a sport football is. There are so many casual madden players, growing up everyone had madden, every kid plays madden. You guys might not play madden because of the pricey MUT, but madden has so many more things to do, franchise blows mlb out of the water, superstar mode is meh, but madden at its core is far more popular then mlb. Especisally when half the player base leaves MLB every august.

Popularity doesn't equal good. I bought a PS4 specifically to stop playing Madden and start playing this. It might have been the best a decade ago, but when you have to have a national campaign to fix the core part of a game, you're letting your long term customers down. EA hates you, and they let you know it every chance they get.
I started with Madden 92 on my Sega Genesis. Stopped playing during M20 and started MLBTS19. I tried M23, but hated it more than M20. It's pay to win. To stay competitive you usually have to have the latest cards which require spending way too much. I don't mind spending money, but I'm not spending $300+ to get the latest Tyreek Hill card.
I'll keep spending my $100 a year here and maybe a little more if it's worth it.

When it comes to Maddens, first of all it is, like The Show, the only league licensed game.
That's why it's so popular. For us that look past that, It's the gameplay. It has gotten so animation-based, that it's a mess. Sure many play it, but All-Madden difficulty is a circus and a poor way of simulating difficulty. The Show has that problem at times. When they nerf triples, by having balls kangaroo-bounce at every park to hold you to ground-rule doubles, they are challenged in simulating difficulty as well.
Just watch Ryan Moody's YT videos if you want the truth. -

Until the franchise corrupt bug happens.

Madden lost me when I kept getting tagged with losses after winning games in franchise mode. I was busy working when I last played to try playing their online mode so I wouldn’t know about spending $300 bucks for a single player. I’ll stick with my old school Tecmo Bowl for my NFL fix. Not like I have that big of a care to play that sport anyways.

loved that game lol swing it out to Kevin Mack in the flats and watch those linebackers and dbacks go flying like they got hit by Sauron swinging his mace in the opening scene of Fellowship

I do not agree with you on this one, their gameplay gets better every year in my opinion.

@iBonafideScrub_ the last good 2k was 17, since 18 its been horrific ever sense.

@broken_toy1 according to this forum MLB the show is pay to win now? Madden is not the best but it is the most popular, like playing madden is one of the most classic things in gaming. I love MLB and I can admit Madden just hits a little different, mlb has been the same since 17, they need to add a weekend league or some new modes to online for dd, events/ranked/br thats about it. I'm a mlb defender as well, but man it gets so hard mid july to keep playing when you just are bored of the same stuff, and madden 24's gameplay is actually awesome, just content stinks, you dont have to pay to win any more, you can build a pretty good squad if you just grind a little bit.

I'll try Madden again in a couple of years. They've had multiple problems and when you used to call or email about a problem then the Indian customer support would say it's your fault instead of trying to fix the problem. Then hang up on you. Add the pay to win from earlier years and overall "screw you" mentality I've experienced, I think I'm being pretty reasonable in saying Madden and EA don't deserve my business.
