This is all I'm asking for!!!!!!!!!!!
-
-Realistic Trade Logic (I don't want my best players traded away for mediocre scraps)
-Realistic Free Agency Logic (Again, I don't want to see my big market team signing mediocre scraps)
-Team Chemistry that boosts your team to win games (I'm tired of leading my team to a 5 run rally only for my bullpen to blow it the next inning, and yes, it does happen in real life but not THIS often) -
Managers that actually make realistic decisions. I am in a 25 game hit streak only to be benched but sent in as a pinch hitter in the 7th inning of a game my team is losing by 9 runs. If I am off for the day and absolutely need to go in, how about as a pinch runner or defensive replacement?
-
@darkblue1876 Or if your team is losing in a blowout, they can put your position player in as a relief pitcher!!!

@AllRise99
I don't think I would want that, but would be ok if it happens. I have been thinking about a lot of things since the server for 20 finally shut down. I don't know if I want to go back to online, but that's another story. I know injuries do happen, and I spent two times on the DL during my 21 version of RTTS, but they were just 14 day stints.
I would like to see possibly long term injuries, and maybe if you get a 60 day injury you go down to AA or AAA for a rehab assignment. Also you should see the AI injured players doing that too.
I also want to see slumping players get benched, or if you really struggle get demoted.
-
@darkblue1876 There’s already a problem with that system. I’ve already seen my declining teammates be demoted late in their careers because of declining OVR ratings, like AARON JUDGE of all people!!! That would NEVER happen in real life!!!
-
@AllRise99 Well I didn't say that has to be it, but if SDS could spare more than 5 seconds of prepping for DD 2024 they could at least find options, maybe not my suggestions, but someone possibly smarter than I am.

In real life it wouldn’t happen because he’s a real person who would have more than 5 years service time and would simply decline being sent down to the minors although the team would have options on him. In the game he’s not real so if he has options the game can do whatever it wishes.

Your team trades or signings of free agents is based on the budget of the team, which is based on club profits. I'm guessing you're usually the Yankees. They have one of the largest budgets and payrolls, so their ability to trade and sign are greatly hindered. Try a team like the Dbacks or Os. Good teams with fairly low payrolls. That should give you room for growth. No, there isn't a trade cap irl, but in this game the tax acts like a cap
I hate those blown leads just as much and it does seem like it happens too much. As an Angels fan, I can tell you it happens a whole lot. Heck, Joe Maddon lost his job because of it and Shohei is 30 miles north of where he should be. Look up their 13 game losing streak of 2022. Most were blown leads late in the game. I believe Raisel Iglesias is in Atlanta because of it as well. The amount seems way too much, too often. Like blowing a 5 run lead in the ninth, but those are more seldom.

I'm on the BlueJays and I always hit the clutch double to put us up in the 8th inning or whatever(seriously, I swear I actually bear down more in clutch situations with my controller lol)...only for the bullpen to immediately give up a 7 spot the next inning. Perpetual 3rd place team

Yeah this is a MAJOR issue in rtts. Players like Tatis, Machado, Judge should not decline that rapidly in their careers. Also the retiring system on rtts is dumb too. Why is a Judge retiring on the Pirates. Why is a player like Machado retiring cause of free agency issues? Rtts need smarter logic seriously!!!!
-
@Ktothemarvel And they don't even let your own RTTS player retire!!! I told my agent that 2043 would be my final season, played through it, missed the playoffs, and the Yankees offered me a contract for 2044!! WTF?!?!? I'm ready for MLB 24 now!!!
-
Stop walking me intentionally in the 2nd inning of a AA game. It's not a thing in real life.

Sounds like they fear you. Wear that with a badge of honor.

@fubar2k7 You're right. I'm looking at it the wrong way. They should ALWAYS intentionally walk me...
