Still amazing that so many people use the cal ripken glitch. I'm gonna get fired on by people who do and say y not. But at least have the balls to hit with him. When I see that [censored] all I think is dam another punk who is so insecure about their record they gotta exploit a glitch so they can look cool on twitch or YouTube. Go head talk all the [censored] you want but at least if I'm gonna be lame and play a game I don't need to cheat.

a substitution is not a glitch … it is supposed to be in the game

I used to think the same as you. But as @YOSHI24_XBL and others have stated; starting a Captain and subbing him out isn't technically a glitch.
Yes, the team still gets the boost, but they also lose a bench bat.
Is it something that should've been tested? Yes.
Is it something thst could've been patched? Yes.
Is it something to get all riled up about this late in the game's cycle? No.
Just play your game and beat your opponent.

Is it something that could have been implemented in the first place (that is the important part ;))? Yes.
Otherwise we will have the next thread closed in a few days, where people constantly deny stuff and state glitches

Taking your position player captain is no different than having to remove your pitcher captain who got rocked in the first inning. He doesn’t lose his boost because he was taken out in the first inning and neither does the batter.

It's a whole lot better than not having the card in the lineup at all or on the bench and still receive the boost, I like taking the captain out just because there are Captains that I can't hit [censored] with

I use the endurance team and I hit Cal 7. I find one of two things often happens. Either my opponent is not afraid of Cal and gives me decent pitches to hit, OR Cal takes pitches and gets on via the walk or getting a good pitch 3-2.
Obviously sometimes he just makes an out but I’m a pretty bad hitter so I’m not really missing out.
