Who's your starting 5?

@Bearsfan217
J. Luzardo, E. Rodriguez, and J. Steele would be my three favorites from S5.I earned Senga from the last Event (30 wins) and he works most of the time, however, someone with good plate discipline will just sit and make you throw strikes with him, which can be difficult. If he had outlier FB and a bit more BB and control on the breaking stuff, he would definately be one of the best. Some users, like me, still have trouble picking up his release (like Bautista).
Webb and Strider need another pitch, Ohtani and Burnes lack control, and Gilbert lacks the H/9 and K/9. I have not used Gallen or Gausman much.

Kodi Senga
Blake Snell
Tarik Skubal
Jesus Luzardo
Shohei Ohtani -
Just to throw some names not on the thread. The 4 I’m going with at the moment other than Ryan are Wood, Prior, Ohtani and Richard.

The new Jim Palmer is pretty good — his 12-6 curve is wicked.

Every time I try to put a 12-6 in the dirt online it instead floats right to the bottom of the SZ and my opponent ends up taking it yard. I can't figure out how to not get butchered when I use it.

Well i snagged Randy Johnson in a collection set 5 Chase pack, lucky as hell SDS threw my a bone for somereason.
-
All currently at P4 as I retire when they hit P5
Spencer Strider
Zack Greinke
Aaron Nola - probably my best currently
Shohei Ohtani
Patrick Corbin
-
My 1-4 are Corbin Burnes, Set 4 Kluber, Set 4 Kersh, and Set 2 Randy as my WC. 5th is a revolving door of who ever is doing well until i get the new Ohtani. But there are def some guys like Postseason Ranger Suarez, Wheeler, and the new Palmer who are good options for a #4 or 5.
-
I don’t know how you get anyone out with Ranger. Good on you!
-
I have been having a lot of success with the Tom Glavine from Set 4. His control i fantastic and people just cant seem to square him up for the most part. It plays a lot like Maddox Set 1 card.
Season 6 will probably end my grind of the game this year. I have absolutely no desire to play again Randy Johnson, Bob Gibson and John Donaldson almost every game.

@Bearsfan217
And this Randy does work with the Pedro boost....add Maddux, Glavine, Wood or Leiter and you have an excellent rotation (for S6). -

I'm not going to lie, i takes a lot of analyzing the opposing player but he's good if you can locate.

Robbie Ray has had two really good games on HOF for me.
Other than that my starting five has been Patrick Corbin, Nolan Ryan, Kerry Wood, and Senga.
Nolan will be retiring soon from my starting 5 so I may go to Ohtani finally.
-
Went with Randy set 4, Luzardo set 5, Wood set 4, Ohtani Set 5, Senga Set 5

How's Senga? I was going to try to get him; but others have said he's easy to pick up just by sitting on a certain pitch.

@X-FREEZE-OFF-X
The Core 95 Pedro. Some Pitchers that qualify are S4 Randy, Wood, Maddux, Glavine, Leiter, etc. and relievers include Dibble, Franco, Nen, Hoffman, etc.... Some of these will not work until S6 however. -
@X-FREEZE-OFF-X
He's been my strangest pitcher. Have a horrible ERA with him but has the highest strikeout ratio of any pitcher that I have. I may not know to pitch with him.
