New Cards releases for 12/1
-
I don't even play ranked and those rewards disappoint me.
Oh, and that is the 5th retro finest for the Yankees, while both cards released today could have easily been Red Sox cards (who only have one retro finest)
-
Pretty sure the releases are totally random. Almost like they are drawn out of a hat. The planning and giving the player base what they want has completely missed the mark this year. The potential for greatness is there but SDS has consistently dropped the ball.

Man.. bleh.. those ranked program rewards are ruff. Not sure if its worth the grind. 20 win Hader maybe though. Whats the event ?
-
Nvm just seen it

I love Wade Boggs every year, so I'm looking forward to him. lol to ranked rewards though
-
Cy Young is absolutely unusable. Why is Wade Boggs Finest card with the Yankees when his best years are with the Red Sox. Some weird choices for for the last couple 12 win event rewards. Lane Thomas? Another 99 Josh Hader card.
I feel like these card releases will kill the game even more when people arent excited for the rewards. BR and Ranked rewards used to be some of the best cards in the game which players wanted to keep playing to get them. Now they are no better than the mid cards in programs.
I could get excited for 99 Lefty Grove, Willie Mays, or even another 99 Lou Gehrig. Legends getting shafted unless they release them all in set 6.

I feel awful for ranked players. Those cards are atrocious.
-
I mean...I Got Rafy Devers at 3rd and Big Papi at first for the Sox. Who do I got playing 3rd for the Yankees? Gleyber? Volpe? Oswaldo Cabrera? Now I got a good lefty 3rd baseman for the Yanks. I aint Mad.
-
In previous games, the best cards were released through RS and BR. This year, those rewards have been moved to the Cha$e packs, which is disappointing.

All about the $$$$$

I got a chuckle out of Max Muncy and his .213 average being deemed "worthy" of a Finest card this year. It does feel like they just mailed it in for the year.
