Do you truly enjoy this game?

I've been playing Hockey Ultimate Team this year and I'm trying to transition to MLB, but I just can't. I've tried 2 days in a row to grind it and end up getting off early due to gameplay.
-
Yes, I don't enjoy other sports (so by extension I don't enjoy other sports games).
But I love baseball and I think this game plays pretty well "most" of the time. Like everyone else, I've had some major fielding issues and good/okays are too prevalent. Doesn't ruin my enjoyment though, hitting is more rewarded then 19.19 had some pretty bad fielding issues early too, they were fixed earlier but there also wasn't a global pandemic so I'm trying to be understanding. If the field bugs are still around by the end of April, then it will be too long I'm my eyes.

Hitting is challenging. I think it is better than last year despite the good/okays. Pitching and fielding are a joke. Just had an event game against a WS player and I had 2 outfielders not lock on to routine fly balls. He had one which was Trout. I am messing around with meter pitching in the event and putting in people to do dailies and TA's. Even on good releases, I have no idea where the pitch is going. Usually several feet from the mark. Still hanging gobs of pitches.
The event is scratching my itch to play. Only played 1 RS game in over a week. I may try again in a few weeks but constantly hanging pitches in RS is not fun.
-
Yep. Love it despite issues

The only sport I love and follow is Baseball. I've played every baseball game ever made since ATARI. None of those games were ever perfect and THE SHOW has never been either. Do I love and truly enjoy this game? Bet your A$$ I do... Only reason why I even own a PS4.

I miss ranked. I’m low 800s and I don’t think I have enough time to grind WS and the rewards don’t seem worth it. As soon as the next season starts, that’s all I’m going to play.

I’m def not playing as much as much RS as I did a year ago, I went on a 7-1 run and got to 859, but then slowly pissed it away, and now I’m at 808, I’m not in the mood to start even lower next RS, so I’m just grinding the 2nd inning until tomorrow night. I enjoy playing the event tho, dont care if I lose, so I’m using all different cards grinding out TA innings, daily missions, etc

That’s exactly what I’m doing. Cheers bro. Next season we’re both going to get it.

If you enjoy HUT more than DD, you’re either a hockey freak and a so/so baseball fan, or put a lot of $$ into HUT. The thing I always hated about HUT is it’s nearly impossible to grind a good team, whereas DD you can do plenty of stuff to earn great cards. Working the market in both games for hours on end is not a viable solution because I’m not playing while I do that
-
I still enjoy it overall, but the errors in online play are so bad that I may just play offline until they get it fixed. I struggle to win consistently when defense is reliable, so having infield pop fly balls bounce off of a diamond fielder's back and slow ground balls go right through someone's legs to blow a late lead just drains the fun out of playing online.
-
I’m enjoying offline. Not going to play online when these problems are influencing games.
-
I enjoy it. Been only playing DD versus the CPU because i still make baserunning mistakes that i know will cost me a game.
I'm learning to use the default. Used to use classic baserunning.
I'm an NHL head as well and that's the only game i've played all year around, but this year i got turned off by the
'World of Chel' bull. I want to play in NHL jerseys and arenas. Not outdoors in hoodies. EASHL was my thing, but
incredibly haven't played in a month, maybe more! No, i don't play goal. I just took this PSN name as a tribute to goalies!
Sorry to get off topic! -
I love it regardless of any issues I may have encountered. I enjoy the grind and all the game modes and various ways to earn xp and rewards. I play mostly vs cpu in conquest, moments, and now showdowns. I suck at ranked seasons, but I still play a game or two each day just to grind xp and affinity innings.
I used to collect baseball cards, so I love that aspect to this game too. I really don’t have any serious complaints about the game at all. I’ve already got my money’s worth and will continue to grind for quite a while.
-
I enjoy baseball so yes. With that said this is so far the worst iteration of the game in the past 5 years.
I get they are all working from home but I'm really hoping this isn't another mlb 18 situation and I'm outtie by July because they can't fix this. Right now I'm holding tight but it is the least fun I've had with the franchise in a couple years
