Can’t find player

I created a player on the first screen (on the small brush at right top corner) I put him on the free agent Pool but I can’t find it or import him, but when I started a RTTS game mode, the player I created at the beginning is on another team.
What am I doing wrong? Appreciate any help you can give me! -
I can’t offer up too much except that you can typically find them by using the filter called ballplayer
Oh and I’m not altogether certain that it’s necessary to do anything in this years game besides create them and use that filter to find them. I know in last years game at least that you did have to import them and locate in the free agent pool but this year I never did that but found it using that filter

What am I doing wrong? Appreciate any help you can give me!You just created a player to be used in franchise mode. You have to use the player associated to your profile now. Just follow what @BxnnyMxn__PSN said in the other comment.

You can even scan yourself into the game now. Just go to the Face Scan and follow the instructions.
