Really? ALL SETS Event

You advertise an event where cards from any Set can be used; but you put an 85 OVR team restriction on it?
Thought I actually had a chance to field a Pirates theme team and even bought some players to do so; but even with 4 silvers on my bench, two silvers SPs, and 6 silver RPs in my pitching rotaions; I can only get down to a 91 OVR.
What a crock!
Good thing the only card I'm interested in is the Chris Martin; who will be dirt cheap within a week. Guess its back to playing Conquest

Best captain for this event is by far the Goldschmidt gold captain and I am regretting not having him now.

So I was actually pissed they changed it as an 85 max event would have been awesome. Won my first game with 2 LS Seager bombs only to see it reset. My opponent had mostly 99s in the lineup but silver pitching. I had a more balanced approach with many low Diamonds but also Silver Santander, Gold Schwarber, Gold Grandal, Gold Devers. It was more than doable.

It's not about being "Doable". It's November. People have been been waiting all year to be able to Field a stacked team and they release an "All Sets" event and put a massive level restriction on it...essentially forcing you to use Core Silvers...what's the point of All Sets if the majority of your line up has to be Core?
They could easily run an event with these restrictions, but don't make it an All Sets event

@rosborn27 I have had no better feeling in 23 than hitting a walk off 3 run HR with LS Dansby Swanson off a 99 reliever.
I spent a lot of time figuring out which Captain to use. I put some effort into this. I thought it was going to be a fun event. Now it's just brute force. Ugh.
I get it. Everyone wants to use the cards they've earned throughout the year. But there's still a place for an event like this.

I’m actually enjoying it now. I didn’t get anywhere near completing TA1. So now doing full squads to grind the pxp for those I need. I’m getting smashed but all the pxp counts !
(Got to 10 wins so don’t care about the rest. But I really want Babe Ruth!)
Also beat a WS and a 12-0 flawless player on route. Both 4-1 to 10 wins
I then with my giants squad played a 1000 guy. Lost 17-5.

Add me to the list. I like the strategy you have to implement with these lineup restrictions not to mention the forever event will essentially be this current event but only Silver level pitchers.

Love going back and p5 some older cards that were close to it. I am 9-0 this run so hopefully I can go 3-1 the rest of the way for that super mediocre 12 win card.

I was able to end my run at 12-0 today. My 11th game was against a top 50 player in the game and he decided to thankfully quit after getting shut out in the first . Then my 12th game was somehow against a guy who was 50-94 in ranked. So lucky
