I realize there's potential rights issues that limit the pool of pictures available for SDS to use, but this really should have been the card art:

He didn’t play in the World Series. I guess they didn’t notice him and of course the series MVP is gonna get a card. I sure hope you were being sarcastic.

Probably can only use pictures taken by MLB or ones they make themselves off the broadcast.

I would expect a Semien and Leclerc as well, Scherzer if we are lucky. Chapman didn't do enough really but could get a nice card. Jankowski and Grey did do enough for one although it would make my day if Hedges got something haha. Too many picture perfect images to pick his card art from.

Me too, sadly.
I love the guy, and was ecstatic when he became a Met. Verlander as well.
If the Mets made the playoffs, those 2 would've been roller-coaster rides, I'm sure.
I wonder how deGrom would've fared in the Postseason for Texas. -
Sadly I believe DeGrom is done as an ace. Too much time has gone by where he hasn’t pitched regularly. I have a feeling this will be one of the worst pitching contracts we’ve ever seen Strasburg being the worst. But since Texas won a WS, I’m sure they’re not too sad about it haha.
If he does come back strong, they will be a force.
