Fun, just as much a pain in the [censored] as last month for me so far. Difficulty needs to be the same across ALL modes. I hate how much of DD is designed for only the hardcore fanbase to enjoy. I love the collecting and playing, but as a below average player trying to improve, forcing us into stupid modes to get PP this way is lame.
That’s issue with gaming in general today. Everything is heavily criticized from both aspects. You have casuals who aren’t able to complete things and then the hardcore who complain about there not being enough to do.
That’s why I’d prefer a sliding scale for missions and moments and such and therefore rewards and some missions should be off or online.
I totally agree and I also wish they didn’t have exclusively online missions with no offline substitute. Specifically with the prestige diamonds. What does it hurt to have the same stat missions doubled and can be done offline? While still keeping the online option for strictly online players.

Honestly I think this has nothing to do with difficulty choice and more to do with how much offline content Madden provides. The Show has improved it's offline content but it's still miles behind Madden and even a few yards behind 2k
I miss the days when sports game devs actually cared about putting out a product that the masses could enjoy and not just the top 10% of the playerbase. I'm old, have bad eyes and hands so alot of these modes are beyond frustrating, and directional is not a good option because well it sucks, only useful if you get a pitch over the heart, which offline never happens.
This game has teh potential to be great, but it has devs that don't seem to care about it being accessible for all. That or they are just too busy looking up prospects to sell in their stupid packs. This whole inning has been a major disappointment for me. I hoped they'd look at the feedback to Showdown, and not just look at the people who farmed it.
Moments? Still only the few points for Kaline....which is a terrible card and his program moments are also turned up way more then it says it is.
It's the fact that no matter what the difficulty says, it's whatever they put under the hood. No way these showdown games are rookie and veteran with pitchers hitting 99 consistently and painting corners with no stamina.
I miss this game when it was actually hard. They didn’t have all the rng built in for the masses. If you wanted to win you would practice and not just expect wins handed to me you.
You sir are the player they are changing the game for and it’s trash because of it!

I just beat it on my first try. I got to Feller down 15-11 so I had some optimism that I could pull it off.
Crazy thing is I ended up winning and only getting one hit in the process. That crazy [censored] walked, or hit, almost every batter.
I don’t know if that wildness is typical but my advice is to stay super patient and only swing with two strikes. Even in 3-2 counts he walked multiple batters. I was proud of myself because I’m usually not that disciplined, for some reason I just saw

I'm currently on my 15 th attempt.
Only once have I come across the mini boss requiring only one run. About to enter final boss 15-7. F me, this better be it. -

15th attempt failed. Including getting to final boss 7 times (and I did forfeit twice in the early stages). Last time I entered in 15-11.
WTF is wrong with me, can only get 3 runs in 20 outs. Only had three strike outs, so it wasn't like I was throwing them away. -
Took me forever to beat it. But I did it. My suggestions...for the first mini boss where you have the bases loaded, chasing 4, Edit your lineup so your pitcher is batting 2nd, so he’ll be on second, your worst hitter is batting 3rd and on first, and someone you don’t mind hitting with is leading off, so when the lineup turns over, you get him. Then set your lineup 4-9 with your best hitters. With your pitcher on 2nd, pinch run for him immediately, either with who you intend to use as a pinch hitter, or your fastest player. Then just score 4 runs before you make 7 outs (I know, easier said than done for some.)
The second mini boss I got Bieber. 13 outs to score 1 run. Just be patient and single him to death, or gap one and have a runner on second. Then you have x amount of outs to get a single or score the runner from second or a ground out to move the runner to 3rd and a sac fly. The others I can’t speak to.
The final boss, The first time I got close, I got Giles. As soon as he gets tired, he gets wild. I had 0 patience and discipline because it was late and I blew it.
The time I beat it, I got David Price, and oh my god is he awful. I pick up lefties pretty well for whatever reason, but he’s god awful. I think I went in at 15-5 or 6 (bad run) and I hit 2 quick singles. But Price is amazingly wild. He walked the bases loaded, walked in runs, and I hit a few sac flies. He walked them loaded again, and walked in runs again. I think with the bases loaded once I got to 15-10 I swung at a total of 5 pitches. Finally at 15-15 I roped a double in the gap to win.
I also suggest your 1st 2 picks in the draft be HanRam and Schoop. I didn’t use Carter, so he may be good. But I usually just made sure I drafted someone that can play 1B as a secondary if I didn’t get a good 1B.
