    Surprised Altuve didn't get a 99.

Oh, and is Kyle Schwarber, a lifetime .224 hitter, the first player with three 99's in the game?

Meanwhile, there are Hall of Famers, most notably George Brett who have no 99's yet.

@Dolenz they make cards based off popularity, as most sports games do now, Manziel got a 90 ovr card in madden. Schwarber will always be a mlb the show legend.

This isn't all the cards, they did this last week with the DS, revealed 7 and there was a lot more than that

His cards are better than Willie Mays cards.

Alek Thomas is on a roll. He’s got more cards in the 2023 post season series than total WAR for his career.

I realize that and that is fine but it does not need to be all or nothing.

I understand that they are releasing players that they hope will earn them money in Stub sales but that does not mean that they should ignore Hall of Famers in the process.

Nor am I saying Schwarber was not worthy of his Post Season or HR Derby cards. The Kaiju card is debatable, but many of those cards were debatable.

Popular how? It isn’t showing up in jersey sales because he isn’t now nor ever has had a top 20 jersey. I would say popular players move merchandise.

I'm so excited about this year's game at this point that I ordered a new Electric Guitar yesterday to take me into the new year. Never felt about the game like I do this year.

@fubar2k7 popular players in game do not equal to real life, Jake Lamb was an absolute legend in mlb 17. Real life all stars legit have silvers in this game as their live series. What I am saying is popular in game like a cards swing, stance, etc. Certain cards or players are fan favorites in the game.

You mean Rake Lamb as he was affectionately known in 17.

I am not interested in any of the cards. But it is something to work on I guess. But all these PS programs I cannot use for collections because that ended a couple weeks ago. And I hardly play anymore. Season way too long.

Maybe I should use him more often and see if I do as well as others.
