Why in hate ranked..

I was losing 2-0 then got a home run.
Was able to get a singles and did a squeeze play to tie it. He had bases loaded and grounded into a double play. Keeping it tied.
Top of the ninth, tied at 2. I hit a 2 run homer to take the lead.
Bottom of ninth, I gave up a hit and I wanted to change pitchers.....
Before I put in my new pitcher I get a message that I forfeited game.
The timer ended.
SDS... I was in the bullpen menu...in the ninth. Your pause timer is garbage. I only paused the game a few times and never longer then 20 seconds.
Fix your game ...

Not sure what you were doing because if you’re only doing bullpen/subs you should have more than enough time. If anything the pause timer is too long.

The pause timer is three minutes. Were you in it for three minutes in the bottom of the ninth?

No way. Opponent was able to pause for 3 minutes. I only paused once for 20 seconds

I was in the bullpen screen you access with the d-pad.

You said you paused multiple times. You obviously spent more time in the pause menu than you think or you paused more than you say. If you exit in and out of the pause menu multiple times in a row you will lose chunks of time. Never heard of a pause shortage glitch in this game. I am willing to bet almost everyone here agrees that they are quite generous with the timer.

More than generous. And I’d love if the quick menu didn’t pause the game at all.

How about stop pausimg? Or screwing around in bullpen Dpad forever? 3 minutes way more then enough time specially when the timer resets

If you ran out of time it is definitely on you. Pause timer is way too long as it is.

I will pause the game all the time to do things like answer the door or use the restroom. I have never run out of time. If you forfeited the game you paused way more than you remember.

How exactly does one warm up the bullpen, make substitutions on defense, shift defense, pitch hit etc without using d pad? Like I said, I only "paused" twice. Without d pad, twice. And only for about 20 seconds. Making defense, punch hitting or running, and pitching options shouldn't do that. The timer shorted me.
I'd like SDS to add a warning message at the 10 second mark.
