I pulled base 4 diamonds from the bundle and thought for sure it was going to be another base from the Chase but when I saw the yellow I almost woke the house up. -

Ya got a random chase pack out of a normal pack and pulled Trout. Sold for a net $700k and bought some of the high priced Sox cards I didn’t have. Nice.

I’m currently grinding S2 TA with only NL East (77% complete), AL Central (91%) and AL West 98%. I could use the stubs to finish collections: Core 32 cards, Set1 55 cards, Set 2 24 cards and Set 3 35 cards. I’m trying to get as much done without having to sell him. -
Quick question: if any of you had to choose between Trout and Elly, which would you spend the stubs on?

I opened at least a million in stubs trying to get Elly and never got him. I hadn't bought a bundle in a while. Opened a 50 on Trout release night and got a free chase pack. Pulled back-to-back Trouts. Sold one and kept one. It really is just a matter of dumb luck.

I got Trout in my BR run and now I think I may purchase him because he might be the best card in the game. I got 1.2 mil stubs but I didn’t know what to spend it on yet and couldn’t muster spending that much for him but his card is ridiculous.

I can’t give you an accurate answer because I don’t have enough of a sample using Trout since I recently got him and haven’t played much since. I do have Elly at P4 so I can say he’s really good. The few games I’ve played with Trout I can say he’s a beast at everything. -
What I’m wondering is if there are plenty of top tier outfielders including Core Sosa, and there is the Core Jeter, do either Trout or De La Cruz really stand out enough to spend stubs on one over the other? The Rollins captain boost has virtually no affect on Elly, so that doesn’t put him over the top. But he can move over to second or third, so he has that advantage over Jeter. Trout is just straight up the best card in the outfield, but is it enough to spend the stubs on him?

Nah I got em from a chase pack after I was given 50 packs in a program I won't mention.
No money spent.
Won't sell Trout for 1 million stubs.
