I hope so. I do well with his batting stance. I assume @RevCuddyer_PSN is a Michael Cuddyer fan so I have to share a story of when I ran into him when he played for New Britain. It was at Blockbuster video. It was late at night in 2000 and I stopped by to pick up a movie. I noticed him because he was in Baseball America so I chatted with him a bit. He was very nice and humble. He was with Michael Resrovich. He was like this guy is gonna be a big star about Restovich.

That's incredible! What a great story. Yeah he was always one of my favorite players growing up, just humble and down to earth. I loved stories from other players about how he would always be doing magic tricks in the clubhouse.

It's really impressive that I have never heard of this guy, who is a rookie, even though he has 500 grand slams in the past three weeks. Most players don't even sniff that many grand slams in their entire careers.

I always followed him after then. I always managed to add him to my Dodgers franchise in the game. I remember him hitting a lot of homeruns in New Britain in a stadium not known for homeruns. It was fun watching your guys come up through there in the late 90s and early 00s.

I'm guessing that half of the Forum is thinking "What is "Blockbuster Video", and what is "picking up a movie""?

He went out with a pretty significant looking injury last night vs the Reds. He left mid AB after what started as a pretty good cut at a ball but it looked like he lost it during the follow thru. Correa went down just the day before too. Hope they can hang in there without those guys.

Luis Arraez went down too last night during pre game warmups

Those same folks missed out on Bases Loaded and Ken Griffey Jr. baseball. Their loss!

I still blame Bases Loaded for my abysmal base running. I think I went something like 2 years without ever getting thrown out in a rundown against my friends OR the cpu back in the late 80’s and to this day I hot dog around the bases yet since playing MLBTS I think I’m like 0/13658 in rundowns lol but I’m still tryin

Did anyone else go with their girlfriend and say “you start at A, I’ll start at Z” and then meet in the middle.

I feel so lucky I got to see him and Bonds both play. The funny thing is I saw Junior at Yankee Stadium not knowing how much he hated them for how they treated him as a kid and he was still cool with the fans in the bleachers. Bonds was at Shea, if it wasn’t obvious, and we had seats behind the dugout and at the time him and Will Clark were about the same size.
