TA 4 East Showdown

I did them all with relative ease, I always skip the guy right before the final showdown because the outs limit seems risky.

Alright @Blind_Bleeder sir, I’ll give this one a try. Ugh!!!
Wait and see man you’ll get it. WTG
Ok, I have to give credit where credit is due.
Thanks @Blind_Bleeder and @BxnnyMxn__PSN !!
I gave the Moonshot showdown a try. Very straightforward. I got just about all of them with 10+ outs to go. I think only one was under 10.
Lots of homers. Lots of double plays on demand and atom balls, but…..
I GOT ER DONE!!

You certainly did! Heck you did better than me and I thought I cruised thru it! I’d be just fine if they all played just like that one did. Now we gotta get the other fella to give it a try. Proud of ya man WTG and git r dun

Showdowns have been nerfed pretty hard in 23. If you cant complete these, I cant image trying to play online. I'm a .500 player online, but I breeze through showdowns pretty easy.

Classy comment with a humble brag to boot. Very helpful for the OP.

Im stuck on this one too. Completed the other 2 easily.
Just lost to Babe Ruth on the 3rd try. Scored one run. One.
Foul ball? No. We will just make a pop up.
Fly ball? No problem. We will just let it die or go straight to a fielder.
PP? No problem. You will ground you into 4 double plays.
The best one was on my 2nd try. Runner on 1st and 2nd. A line drive which the first baseman flew like superman tl his left. Caught it and landed on the bag. Double play.
I’m not doing it again.
I’ll let it accrue naturally. I’ve only got 30-40% left on four divisions. It’ll get done next week
But seriously. That was absurd. It seems scripted.

I didn’t read the entire thread, but the best way to beat relievers in showdown is to take as many pitches as possible the first time through the lineup. Try to work a few walks and foul two strike pitches off as much as you can. By the time you get to the later outs Felix will be gassed and whatever you touch will fly.

Yeah I didn't read this thread at all. The best way to beat showdown is to start one and then press X strategically until you complete it.
-
I skipped Mariano...too risky with only 8 outs and down 2 runs

While that usually is the trick I had Felix completely out of energy and he was still throwing 102 mph fastballs and dotting the corner with 87mph splitters. The best advice I've seen for Felix was the guy who said set PCI high and sit on the fast ball.
