I like Acuña more than Juan Soto myself. I also feel Acuña carries himself with more respect,
and he is a 5 tool player where Soto has lacked the defense and speed Acuña has. -

We'll see if Betts continues his hitting though, he had two homers tonight. He could make it a close race if he has another month like this.
I love that the Dodgers fan @fubar2k7_PSN says Acuna is unanimous and the Braves fan @BiigD008_XBL is giving props to Mookie. I kinda wish they could each get an MVP but either way, shows you both have real respect for the game.
And what a game these two teams played today. Foreshadowing of the NLCS perhaps- the rubber match from 2020 and 2021.

Once he’s at 40/70 there is no way anybody else gets a 1st place vote but maybe the LA writers give Mookie the votes.

It seems like maybe they’re pushing one another yo kick it into another gear. I just think once Acuña gets to 40/70 no way he doesn’t get unanimous.

I thought Betts had a good shot but I think the 30 60 put Acuña over the top. As long as he stays healthy he should get.

Your boy Mookie is giving Ronald a run for his money. We’ll see how it shapes up down the stretch. Acuna has done pretty impressive things but that August Mookie just produced was one for the record books.

This is just another reason that I love baseball. You got the top four mvp candidates as teammates. Acuña and Olson on the Braves and then we have Betts and Freeman for the Dodgers. I have a feeling this might be decided in the post season and goodie goodie goodie if so! This is shaping up to be a September for the ages baseball fans and the whole prospect of it makes me giddy to the point that if I didn’t have this busted fake knee I would skip everywhere I went
