My gripe with MLBTS23

I think a lot of the complaints on here are unattainable expectations. They can be valid, but still unattainable. I might be in that category.
I have developed a disability over the past year. My neck has compressed over the years with age and finally got so bad I started losing feeling in my hands. Elsewhere too, but those are irrelevant to my post. Had a four vertebrae spinal fusion anterior and posterior. Very major surgery. It worked but the damage seems to have been done. (won't know for sure for another six months) I have almost no feeling in my right thumb and lessened sensation in both hands. Between that and a few other things, I am disabled.
I've always been OK at the MLBTS. Never outstanding, but I won my share of online games, even though I hate playing most online players. I'd rather do dishes over playing anyone online. But up until the neuropathy started, I could hold my own if needed. I never found Allstar and up difficulty fun or relaxing, so Rookie and Veteran is where I stayed.
That being said, I'm starting to have too difficult of a time playing on Rookie now. I knew extreme would be too difficult and didn't give more than a few tries before declaring it hopeless. But moonshot? I did last year in one night. Had a great time. This year is too difficult for someone with my disabilities. I'm striking out on pitches in the middle of the zone with good timing. I can't use the zone batting because my concentration needs to be on pressing the button. I have no tactile feel of X. I can feel pressure from pushing, but no sensation of actually touching the button. I've neve liked zone, but I could move PCI independently. I can't now
The problem seems to stem from changing hitting mechanic from earlier in the season. How am I missing a well timed pitch down the middle of the zone? Occasionally was alright when it happened once every few games. I just struck out twice in a row and several other times in one game, on ROOKIE, with multiple whiffs on well timed, in zone swings. Whiffs on middle middle 92 mph fastballs! Live Trout and WBC Urias, if your thinking it was player, vs Colorado's #5 starter. I've already called this the year of the pop-up, but this is getting ridiculous.
I physically can't play with a PCI anymore. Because I have a disability, it seems like SDS is moving away from the ability to use disabled friendly settings and it's very frustrating.
I looked forward to Diablo 4, but can't play it because I can't change buttons quick enough. Forget shooters, the right stick is worthless to me. Now my baseball game? 2K just gave us PGA2K23. Golf? Really?
Please tell me I'm a nut that expects too much.

I feel ya on all accounts .66 myself athritic hands and eyes of a bat . I play the game a lot.About 600 9 inning games vrs CPU in Diamond Dynasty this year .I play the CPU regular squads because extra inning mode was discontinued. I also cannot stomach the Cheese festival that online play has become . Up until this year I would play HOF setting most of the time and use apitchg rotation like online requires ( ranked season ) This year however Veteran is about like HOF setting were in previous years. On any level above rookie in Diamond Dynasty the defense is so overpowered its ridiculous. And i fail to see how the 77 rated team with a defense rating of 68 can pull off a dozen 5 star plays a game? And it is also ridiculous that a 66 rated bullpen guy comes in throwing like Eric Gagne 99 rated does. The CPU cant beat you decent 5-1, gotta be that dramatic comeback in the last ining with a seeing eye dribbler with bases loaded rap 97 per cent of the time the way they win. And it is not just me seeing this. Game just aint right this year.

Like I said I played a lot of games in Diamond Dynasty in the last 5 years.My record will reflect it . So I know a skunks hind end when I smell one.

Just play on a level you feel is fair to you and your opponent broken toy1. It your dollar you playing with . I have wondered many time if we might enjoy some games more if we just stayed off the internet completely. Ignorance can be assuring at times. What you dont know dont bother you.
