Did I get scammed?

I just played a br game in which I was mounting a comeback in the bottom of the third inning. I was behind 3-2 with 2 outs and runners on first and second. Mike Moustakas hit a line drive into left-center field that the announcers said dropped in for a hit. The game seemed to lag for a while after which I got the message 'lost connection with opponent'. I assumed it was a rage quit (When I disconnect due to my internet connection I usually get a screen saying 'network error') and was taken to the end-of-game screen. It showed I got the loss? Did I get scammed?
