Sleepers
-
Let’s share a little intel with one another this morning men. Let’s hear some of your favorite sleeper cards. Doesn’t matter if it’s considered the worst card in the game so long as you’ve found success. I love hearing stuff like this. We all know about the IKF TN card who can make any hotter look foolish plus hit bombs if you reward him by dropping the DH.
Here are two cards that have been incredible for me lately: the July POTM Issac Paredes and that July TN (think it was the final week) Alika Williams card. Both of them are incredible…try these two just for fun and see what ya think!

Oh and might I also give a shout out to Elehuris Montero whom, over the past two years edition of the show, has came thru in countless final showdown at bats after all of my 95+ players have failed miserably. I don’t know if I’m the only one who ends up with this card on my showdown teams or not (he’s the card in the Rockies uni #44 with his bat resting on his right shoulder and about a 65 rating), but that dude is a rock star for me lol

My first 5 players to add to this topic, i'm not using any 99s or 98's in this, so
Larry Doby - 97 overall
Steven Kwan - 97 overall
Curtis Granderson - 97 overall (this card led my first couple of mini seasons in home runs and average)
Dee Strange Gordon - 97 overall (this card just hits, for power as well which has suprised me)
Marco Luciano - 94 overall (my favorite tops now card so far, hits for power, has speed, and can field)
-
I had contemplated mentioning that Luciano card also. Incredible double and triple machine with that speed
-
97 The Kid. He is the budget Griffey Jr. He is one of my better hitters online for me. I guess its just his swing. I cant finish the extreme program, and never picked up his set 1 card. Not sure what ill do once set 2 goes away, might pick up his s1 card and use as WC
-
Topps Now Jake Burger...He's like Big Al. Hits Dingers.
-
I’m going to field a team based on the answers I get here. I bet it’ll be awesome. I hit some bombs with Burger but didn’t stick it out with him as is often the case when trying to just go for the points and move on. I’m thinking DH for him

I’ve not seen a Granderson card yet I’ll have to seek that one out. Loved him
-
Topps Now Captain Eddie Rosario, ASG Mike Soroka from Team Affinity 3
-
I’ll tell you a pitcher I’ve had incredible success with is the June POTM Scott McGough. His incredible ability to pinpoint that fastball sets up his slider and splitter tunneling gorgeously. There was another in this July batch too but I’m forgetting might’ve been Gallegos
-
If you haven’t tried Charlie Blackmon, I highly recommend it. Just about everyone rakes with him. The 95 Captain is better than his 97 if you use him at DH (which you should because his fielding is awful)
-
I absolutely love Josh Naylor cards. I haven't tried the TN one yet because I haven't been able to play much lately, but the Charisma was in my lineup forever.
-
97 Brian Roberts
-
Charisma Jeff McNeil. He was my 2B until I picked up Utley. Great contact card, and his defense is good.
-
Kaiju Cavan Biggio and Gavin Lux. They even came through on Legend in Mini-Seasons.
The new Ozzie hit a no doubt GS for me yesterday, offline after the Manger walked the batter in front of him. I was playing with earbuds on listening to music. I had to take them off to hear the announcer say it!
-
Porterhouse and Zunino MA have been great for me against the computer. Haven't been able to play them much as I try to finish TA though
-
Oh many of these have me so intrigued I would have never guessed most of these. I loved that Naylor charisma card only used it a couple of times and also used the Jeff McNeil up until I got that selfsame Utley card
-
Interesting cards. I like it for me I would say 97 Eric Davis set 1. Set 1 Carlos Santana card. TA3 kris bryant, joey Gallo, strange-Gordon
-
95 Daniel Vogelbach for the butterfly lol, card also crushes the ball
