What exactly is a flash sale anyhow. Does it slash the market prices for a short period of time

People will start selling their cards so prices will drop by quite a bit. Flashsales = price drop. Stub sale = price rise.

Rollins was at 190k sell now last night. Right now? 58k. Ripken peaked at 351k a few days ago. 122k now.

Probably not as much. Most people who wanted Jeter had him months ago. Also there is risk in investing in live series because if you hoard a high diamond you risk losing when they shuffle stats every two weeks. If you want to make stubs on live series the strategy is to buy up when you feel a card is underrated.
There is almost no risk to invest in captain cards if you only buy them at quicksell value.

If they do drop it will be during the sale if live series are in the packs being sold. People chasing DeGrom will be selling now on everything they get which will drop the sell now bids and cause people with buy now bids to undersell to avoid a loss.

There will probably or possibly be a live series Pack sale of some sort. That usually messes with the LS market. Wish i could give advice on market stuff but im not that knowledgeable

I mean ya, you will see the pack they are sellin with pack odds etc. It won't be normal packs.

This sounds about right. Seems like a lot of people have success getting good cards out of these packs tho. My question is do you get a choice or is it a normal pack with 5 random cards ? -

There are folks way more MLB the Show market savvy than me.
One thing I’ve learned is to not necessarily buy the packs on sale, but hammer the auction house. That’s where the real deals possibly are.
