If you don’t hit a home run in a game just dashboard in your last at bat. The game won’t count and you can play it again

How do you properly dashboard? I don’t do it so I’m trying to learn for these moments. Does it count for Adley moments too?

Only way I know how to do that on a PS5 is to hit the PS button and scroll to the right and restart the console. You have to do it before the hitter completes his last AB.

Just pause the game and close the App. No need to reboot PS5.

On PS5 if you hit the PS button and click on the show icon there's something called switcher (lets you switch between games) just click on the icon and select close. Simple as that, no need to restart the console.

Thanks. I just asked my son if there was a way like Rhino said and he mentioned it just like you said so now this old dog has a new trick.

I’ll throw in with you partner. I thought dashboarding was what happens when you leave the game on too long while you’re away smoking and come back to find it disconnected haha. Add in the bit about that switcher button to boot and I feel like the scales have dropped from me eyes! Thank you @theBlindRhino and @samguenther1987

You should have been around back in the day if you think dashboarding is a thing. Back in 16 or 17 there was a thing called AFK which means away from keyboard. People would set up their lineup and then play a friendly with someone (like you did bleeder) and use auto pitching or something like that and then just walk away and let it play overnight. Each pitcher would have something like 250 Ks in the game. Then when you were ready you or your friend would lose and the game would be over. There were so many after game cards packs etc and that’s how people were earning so much stuff. So with that and how RS plays if there is a glitch people will find it and use it to their benefit……always

Wow. That’s simply incredible. It just seems like that would take all of the fun out of it.

Trial by error, if you fail just pick yourself up and try again. Feels like you've actually accomplished something when you don't dashboard.
