When I have a runner or runners on base, they take off on any fly ball - shallow fly, pop fly, soft liner, foul out, etc. This has led to so many unnecessary double/triple plays, I can’t hit sac flies or advance any runners, and is just simply beyond frustrating.

I don’t have auto baserunning on. I am not taking a lead nor hitting any buttons that would manually send them. It happens in both online and offline play, including Showdown.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can make it stop??

Only on Fly Balls? Runners aren't continually leading off forcing a throw over? I'm thinking you're L1 button is stuck, or your stick if you aren't using button controls for baserunning, but if it's only situational. I got nothing...

Just fly balls - including foul pops. If I have a runner on 2nd and hit a grounder to the left side, the runner will correctly hold. But if that ball had been a little pop fly to shortstop, my runner would be halfway down the line before I could hopefully get him back in time.

L1/L2 isn’t stuck, they don’t lead off unless I do so intentionally…which I rarely do.

Appreciate your reply man. This sucks

check and see if "assisted" is set as your baserunning option in your settings.

Sorry but where is this “assisted” option in settings?
