I’m over here a grown man playing a video game cursing in the loudest whisper possible to not wake my family up...the only thing good that’s came from tonight is being able to test the durability of my gaming chair.... so far it’s withstood the beatings....

What about when they try and have a conversation in a ranked season game? they just don't understand the attention that is required.

directional hitting. I just hit 3 HR pulling the ball in the first two games. who knew you had to dumb down the hitting style to play rookie this well...

Square button works well, PCI is too big on Rookie. PCI being so big is nice if you just need to hit the ball but not great if you want to hit it far. Had this done by game 4, much easier to hit HRs at Stl than Detroit too unless you pull the [censored] out of the ball in Detroit

I turned the pci off and just used square and x and accomplished them in about an hour hour and half which usually takes me days

Just finished it! Yea tips I’d give is either go with directional, sit on heaters, and pull. I did it using zone and both HR’s came off Flaherty who has a 51 HR/9

I don't understand why they have to lie about the difficulty on these moments. Go play a game on Rookie in any other mode and tell me it's the same. It's not.

Why does directional hitting help with this? I'll try anything now though, hitting a HR with Kaline feels impossible.

It takes away the gigantic PCI you get on Rookie which can cause you to get okay contact on what would be squared up on Veteran. Just so big it’s hard to center the ball. You can use it, I did. Just never press X or O. Swing only with Square

Totally forgot about dashboarding got to the last game in the 7 game moment only needing a hr and i let it ride oh well better luck tomorrow

Thanks for the advice i did polo grounds moment in 2 abs and 7 game series 1. 1st try too i used directional for the hrs and xbh then switched back to zone for the remaining hits needed

Use square and keep reminding yourself “get under the ball”. He doesn’t have a ton of power so you won’t get any cheap bombs other than maybe down the lines in the Polo Grounds moments.
