Why play online

What’s the point. People throw junk , all day, and hit home runs in pitches in the dirt. How’s that fun?

My last game was fantastic. My opponent and I had a pitchers duel through 7 innings, John Donaldson vs. Kodai Senga, I broke it open with two runs on well placed singles and a double, added a solo shot. They made it interesting in the 9th with a solo shot a walk and a single, and I got the save with Chapman vs. Ohtani with a strikeout with runners and 1st and 2nd. Before that I ran a Giants team build and a Twins team build. All three games were very fun.

I'm pretty sure it is mandatory if you read the TOS. It sucks because I, too, think online play it pointless and a chore. But it is required if you want to own MLBTS23.
