Do you mean Dilithium Crystals aren't good enough? I mean, they can stabilize an anti-matter reactor...you'd think they'd work. I know the ones on Earth won't do, but maybe Mars? Maybe Kyber Crystals will do it. They can focus energy down to a tight beam. C'mon, tell your son not to give up so easily. Gene Roddenberry and George Lucas wouldn't have mentioned them, if they didn't work. Right?

I just pitched a Perfect Game vs. the Mariners, with 2 relievers, with no captains. I pitched Trivino and Bundy for Classics XP! It was only on Veteran, so I'm not gloating, but in a small park, I think it means something. This happened earlier in the game. Oops.

I went 0-4 with Captain Crawford. I used Ohtani to pinch hit for him and got a FC. Sometimes that's the way it goes.

Weâve decided to try and prototype our own Energon Cubes. Weâve been met with limited success at this stageâŚbut then again mark1 was only a milk crate with a 9-volt battery taped to the inside but HEY.âŚ.weâll get there

However, since you recommended it I went ahead and fired it upâŚand to my complete and total surprise itâs not populated by cheesers at all! This looks to be an offline type of experience but itâs online? Iâm in awe of thisâŚand you say this is one of the more efficient modes to complete xp, get rewards, etc? I picked rookie per your mention elsewhere and have found it to be quite fun and not stressful at all so far! Brother, I thank you yet again!

No - it's not online. It's completely offline vs CPU, but to get the points for TA you need to make sure you are online, so it can sync the points to TA. If not, you'll lose them...take it from someone who knows...

Haha if you could have seen the smile leave my face after my first game and all these decisions about what salary Iâm going to pay my team our scouts lol! I was totally the âwah-waah-waaaaaahâ game show moment and make no mistakeâŚbut I soldiered on and it wasnât too badâŚyet. I wonder, am I going for complete games here (the starter, I should say) or am I supposed to be trying to use the players the cpu is warming up? I didnât like their choices so far in both games Iâve played (by the way, itâs only partial games itâs a really cool mode!), so I used the players I wanted toâŚbut then if this is about development maybe I should not?

I struggle with MTO though, it just seems so rigged for you to lose, i traded for Ian Happ, he proceeded to hit 3 perfect perfects right to the wall only to be caught each time. Now thatâs very interesting - Iâm having the complete opposite experience but then Iâm using the Mets my first time thru and playing only on rookie so far haha! I had a bad feeling too when my first game (which started 2-2 in the 7th) went 14 innings and ended 3-2âŚexcept I got the win! Oh I was abysmal playing locked at 2B with Jeff McNeil lol except I went 4-4 somehow but we got destroyed that game due to my 4 errors at Second lol Still yet it rewarded me with an upgrade boost I guess due to the hitting. I also find this mode extremely immersive - itâs undoubtedly due to my never having played he game as much as most but itâs been a nice change of pace!

Don't worry about what the CPU wants. Play who you want. It doesn't matter because, after the last game, it all resets. You get points for winning, the better your record, the better your points. I don't even bother with development or trades (unless it's someone I really need).

Yah i take back what i said, i was just frustrated. It is actually really fun, playoffs especially. I have the Dodgers 3 outs away from the World series.

OMG. I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice this.
I only played it for the 5 star off-season trophy, and the Postseason one.. It was "heck" on ROOKIE!! It got so bad that I dropped the difficulty to Minors, I think. Then I did 2 seasons to get Season 3 XP. One Mets and one Angels. The fun is fleecing teams of their top players. I 'stole' Realmuto for the Mets, and Trea Turner for my Angels season.
I did finally pass the 'Finish the no-hitter' mission, first time in 3 Show games, lol.
I really despise this mode now. -

Oh this is just scandalousâŚI love it! It never even crossed my mind that I might be able to pull off some kind of highly advantageous tradeâŚI figured Iâd be stuck getting offers for minor leaguers only. Iâm going to start paying attention to thisâŚI noticed that both verlander and Diaz arenât available to use but Iâm unsure if the game is reverting to what the rosters were like at the start of the season, or if itâs part of the mode of play and theyâll be trickled in as the season progresses? I thought if Iâm only doing a single season I might trade Edwin Diaz if I canât use him and get me someone gooood

I was trying to wrap up affinity 3 on my last remaining divisions this morning. Played on Rookie at Coors and scored 45 runs. Gary Sanchez went 9 for 9. Three others went 7 for 9. Still gave up a run.

Iâve got a question about the end game reward and progress screens. When I play on DD I think itâs the last page that shows your progress in the repeatable team xp program but when I finish a game in MTO it doesnât show any progress towards anything. Iâm making sure that itâs connected each time before I start the mode. I got to DD then back out to the main screen and then open it from there. Am I doing something wrong you think or does it even show the progress at all I wonder. Iâm hoping that Iâm still getting credit for it but havenât checked. Not sure that Iâd even know at this point lol
