I can't link my nintendo account

Hi, I'm new to linking accounts. I get this message when I want to link my nintendo account
´´There was an issue connecting your account to the MLB Servers. Please make sure you have played the game first before trying again.
For Nintendo Switch users, please link to an MLB The Show Account first before using your Nintendo Switch account here´´.

SQRTI92, did Blind_Bleer's instruction set resolve your issue? I am also getting the same error messages and I have tried following the instruction set.

@sqrtnskrt2_PSN and @Blind_Bleeder ... it does not work for MLBTheShow.com to where when i log in and click Game... that's when the error appears. However, it does appear to work for me on the Companion App for some reason.
Very confusing... any help would be appreciated!

There's another error message that says "account.theshow.com redirected you too many times". ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

Could try different browser? Before switching browsers try clearing your caches and disabling content blockers (if any)before re-logging in

I tried this with a few browsers on my computer and phone with no luck. I opened a ticket with the show but haven't gotten a response yet. Bummer
