Giving SDS Credit when it's due..
-
I have to say, I have not been the most positive about the game this year. I have stated that I am not the biggest fan of Sets and Seasons and how much I dislike the PXP grinds for individual cards. How much I dislike their aggressive monetization push.
But, if I am going to complain about the stuff I don't like then I feel that I need to give them credit when they do something that I think is good.
Which is why I must say that I applaud SDS for the changes to the missions in the POTM program. Not having a mission for each individual player is much more palatable.
Not having to earn XP with Player A just so you can earn Player B, who you then need to earn PXP with to get Player C is a godsend. It makes the POTM grind much less intimidating.

It was a much needed and welcome change for sure.

Oh nice, I haven’t even really looked at the program yet but I heard the grind was less intense. That’s cool, will probably start digging into this today
-
Yeah took me maybe 2 hours instead of 4. Much better.
-
Agree, first time in a while I've completed all of the POTMs to date
-
Would have been nice if they did same with TA... Each division Pitchers PXP an Hitters PXP instead of individual missions.

I mean they really don’t deserve much if any credit. They haven’t had a gameplay update in months that means they aren’t actively trying to improve their product which many people aren’t happy with this year. Updating the content doesn’t impress me a single bit I’m sorry.

I did not say you had to give the credit but I will.
You can be as negative as you want but they changed one of my most hated aspects about the POTM programs for the better. So I will take that small victory and be happy for today.

If the gameplay is so bad, why have you put in 366 hours, up to and including today?

I’ve enjoyed the revamped showdowns too brother that’s SO much more like it

I love that they honored a request made back in April.

Because I keep expecting them to improve it and I love baseball what are my other options? A lot of that time is also afk. You can pump their tires all you want like you do year in and year out but the fact remains they’ve made no effort to improve the game itself outside of content changes which is appreciated but I would prefer they worked on the core mechanics.
Is there any particular reason that you feel the need to defend this game from any negative feedback? Im genuinely curious why you feel the need to to do that year in and year out it’s very bizarre just ignore it.

Hard to ignore when come in with negativity on a positive thread. Maybe you could ignore the positivity?
