So I’m grinding in conquest earlier with the June Topps now week 4 cards and recall how much I enjoyed the IKF pitching debut moment (btw his curveball is an eephus pitch of I’ve ever saw one!) so I bring him in to pitch and, so far, I’ve got 4 straight immaculate innings from him (2 rookie, 2 veteran) …im wondering if I’m going crazy but if you aim his fastball (80mph haha) with the ball centered on the upper corner of the zone (right corner to rhb, left to lhb) the ball drops in for a perfect strike every single time and his aim is dynamite…it looks like it’s in slow motion but they can’t (or won’t) hit the thing!

Y’all gotta try this it’s great fun

I only dominated in the Moment. I'll try him in regular games now.

I had a perfect game going with him against the As (yes, I know) but took him out after 4.1 because he had 12 Ks and needed to get two other pitchers some points.

Hey when you aim at the top corners make sure the aiming ball fully hides the corner such that if it were someone with gas it would be a slightly high pitch but I attest it’ll drop right in. His aim is incredible! Thanks for giving this a try you won’t regret it

…and the eephus 12-6 curveball is simply nasty! I’ve been working on the aiming point for this up high above the zone and I just threw a pitch that looked like it was 3 feet over the batters head that dropped in for a very strike with only the lower hemisphere of the rock ever kissing the top of the zone! I’m nearly as shocked over the call as I am the gravity defying pitch

You know, that's the only time I got in trouble with IKF. I tried that once and Todd Frazier hit it over the wall dead-center. I haven't tried it since, but maybe I threw it a little lower.

Same thing happened to me the first time I tried it…I believe it’s still the only hit I’ve allowed by him and I know it’s still traveling because it easily and expeditiously escaped the earths gravitational field!

I’ll say this though, back to back immaculate innings using only a single pitch, while ridiculous, is very, very satisfying. But if one gets tired of watching them miss the ‘fastball’ or simply not swing, dropping that eephus in there just under the bottom of the zone (after lobbing the first two in the aforementioned corner) borders on cheating haha because the cpu can’t hit the thing.

I just now had to check…7 games, 13.1 IP, 34Ks with a K/9 of 22.950 hahaha the one hit I’ve surrendered with him so far was the bomb to that lefty. I’ve got my points now but I gotta keep the card on my team
