Cannot upgrade from gold to diamond skills

In RTTS23 I have enough points to start unlocking diamond items/skills but I am not allowed to buy any of the diamond skills. Right now I have all gold skills, and have enough points to buy diamond but the game is now allowing me to do so. Are there any fixes to this?

I don't know if you are talking about diamond archetypes and/or diamond perks and/or diamond equipment.
Diamond archetypes are earned after completing the gold archetype program (earned 100 program stars). They are found in a pack after the completion of the gold program and will be found in your unopened packs within Diamond Dynasty mode of the game. Open the pack and activate it under the My Ballplayer menu in RTTS.
Diamond perks and diamond equipment can be applied at anytime after earned in a pack or bought in the Community Market, again found in the Diamond Dynasty mode of the game. After bought or pulled from a pack, you can apply the perks and equipment through the My Ballplayer menu in RTTS. You can have diamond perks and equipment with any Ballplayer regardless if they are bronze, silver, gold or diamond archetypes.
I don't know where your issues lie, but this should help you figure it out.
