It is 6-8 weeks per season, at least that is what they said in the past.
Season 3 takes us up to the beginning of Sept (I saw that somewhere). That leaves roughly 12 weeks in the year, which would be 6 weeks for Season 4 and 6 weeks for season 5. Taking us to January at the earliest for Season 6.
Assuming that they stick to the season lengths they mentioned pre-release

There’s just no way I’ll have interest at that point. Even normal years I’m usually not around much past September/October at the latest. I’ve already played less this year than any other at this point in the year.
The only way I see myself engaging with DD past Season 3 is if they increase the Wildcard slots to at least 3. Im pretty much just using DD to entertain myself until 2k drops in September. I hope their analytics show a massive drop off.

You’re absolutely right. It’s also not a coincidence that Set 2 has been weaker than Set 1. They want Season 3 to be similar to day 1 where if you want to play online, you will have a massive advantage if you buy stubs (do the LS collection).
Probably right before a profit analysis.
